"Ping!"
Fedora's phone beeped aggressively, the sharp, unannounced digital cry causing him to press his hand tightly against his chest.
He nearly jumped out of his skin, heart hammering against his ribs as he recoiled from the sudden noise that shattered the morning silence.
"Mtchww!" he let out a grunt, a half-annoyed, half-frustrated hiss that vibrated in his throat. Pinching the bridge of his nose, he felt the lingering tension of his dreams knitting his forehead together before he finally stretched an arm out. He retrieved the glowing gadget, the screen's artificial luminescence bleeding into the dim room. Hovering on the display was a text from 'T'baby.
Even without scrolling through the contents, a subconscious smile began to carve its way up Fedora's cheeks. He dived immediately into the inbox.
[Good morning Dora baby]
[hope you slept well last night, and I hope you don't still feel like shit?!, you dare not]
