Chapter 130 - Chapter 130

Chapter 130: Exterminate Them All — Leave No One Alive!

From the very beginning, Danzō had never intended to spare a single member of the Uchiha clan.

His desire to exterminate the Uchiha had not been a recent development—it had been brewing for years.

This was the continuation of the Second Hokage Senju Tobirama's will.

Tobirama had never fully trusted the Uchiha clan; he had always kept them at arm's length and under suspicion.

Now, the Uchiha's rebellion was backed by irrefutable evidence.

Shisui had completely pinned down Fugaku—whose strength had proven unexpectedly formidable—ensuring that the power of the Mangekyō Sharingan could not threaten Konoha's forces in the slightest.

The opportunity was right in front of him. How could Danzō possibly let it slip away?

With his single command, the Root operatives—who had been lying in wait—immediately launched their attack on the Uchiha clansmen.

The Uchiha elite, who had been waiting for Fugaku's order to begin the operation, instinctively counterattacked the moment they came under assault.

What had previously been a situation fully under control now spiraled completely out of hand.

Ninja from both sides were drawn into the chaos and began engaging one another.

Aside from the clan heads of Konoha's great families and their elite members, virtually every other available shinobi had already thrown themselves into the fight.

"The Uchiha are finished."

Oborotsuki watched hundreds of shinobi clashing across the battlefield in brutal, one-on-one and group combat.

Konoha's side—with their overwhelming numerical superiority—immediately established a crushing advantage from the outset.

The Uchiha clan lacked high-end combat power. Not every one of their hundred-plus members had even awakened the Sharingan.

And among those who had, the levels varied greatly—the higher the tomoe count, the more formidable the eye.

Ordinary Sharingan genjutsu could hardly threaten truly elite ninja.

After all, everyone knew that Sharingan illusions required eye contact to take effect.

Once the principle was understood, countering it was simple: avoid looking into the eyes of any Uchiha with an active Sharingan, and the risk of falling under their ocular power was drastically reduced.

Without genjutsu support, even a regular Sharingan was often inferior to the Byakugan.

Moreover, the Uchiha clansmen were now facing two-on-one or even three-on-one disadvantages.

Even if each of them had three heads and six arms, they would still have no hope of turning the tide.

After watching for a while, Oborotsuki lost all interest in the battle.

He already knew the Uchiha clan was doomed.

This was not an outcome any individual's strength or willpower could change.

Even if he intervened now, reversing the situation would be nearly impossible.

"If anyone's to blame, it's Fugaku for refusing to listen."

"If he had accepted my proposal and taken the Uchiha clan to Kirigakure, none of this would have happened…"

Oborotsuki turned and vanished in a flash.

Meanwhile, Uchiha Mikoto, holding little Sasuke, followed the other clan members as they fled westward from Konoha toward the border of the Land of Fire.

According to Fugaku, everything had already been arranged.

Once they reached the border, someone would meet them and lead them to a safer place for refuge.

But as the group moved forward in heavy silence, heads bowed, a sudden rustling sound came from behind.

Many of the women in the group had received ninja academy training.

The instant they heard that all-too-familiar sound, they immediately went on high alert.

"Damn it—pursuers!"

Mikoto reacted first. She drew a kunai and stared warily toward the rear.

The rustling grew closer and louder.

There was no mistake—it was the sound of clothing rubbing against air at high speed!

"Everyone, scatter and hide!"

The few male Uchiha escorts who had been protecting the group quickly regained their senses and instinctively spread out into a defensive formation.

At the same time, they urgently warned the others who still hadn't realized what was happening.

Moments later, they saw Konoha's pursuers arrive.

More than a dozen figures—all wearing sleeveless flak jackets and animal masks.

There was no mistaking this attire: they were ANBU.

"Even the Hokage's ANBU have come personally…"

The Uchiha escorts tensed as though facing mortal enemies.

Atop a nearby branch, the ANBU squad leader Kakashi stepped forward and looked down at the large group of Uchiha women, children, and elderly below.

"By order of the Third Hokage, you are all to return to the village immediately."

"For the sake of avoiding greater trouble, please come with us without resistance."

The moment Kakashi finished speaking, one Uchiha escort gritted his teeth and hurled a kunai toward him:

"Dream on!"

"The Uchiha clan will never again obey Konoha's orders!!"

As he threw the kunai and roared his defiance, he charged straight at Kakashi.

"Is that so?"

Kakashi's tone was ice-cold. His sharp gaze locked onto the incoming opponent.

Only when the attacker closed in did Kakashi move. No one clearly saw how he did it—he simply flipped the man over and pinned him to the ground.

Using a reverse joint lock, Kakashi completely immobilized the Uchiha escort, pressing him down so he couldn't move.

"Well… if you insist on resisting with force, I'll have to dislocate your joints first."

Crack—

A crisp sound rang out.

Just as Kakashi had warned, the Uchiha escort's arms were instantly dislocated, and his leg joints were also forcibly popped out of place.

In a single move, the Uchiha protector was rendered completely combat ineffective—unable to threaten them any further.

"Damn you!"

"Konoha has gone too far!!"

The other Uchiha escorts, witnessing their comrade's brutal treatment, exploded in fury.

No longer caring whether they could win, they brandished their weapons and charged forward one after another.

"Engage!"

Kakashi rose calmly and gave the order to the surrounding ANBU.

In an instant, more than a dozen ANBU members flashed like lightning, each intercepting an opponent and engaging them simultaneously.

After only a brief exchange, the Uchiha escorts—most of whom had only awakened single-tomoe Sharingan or hadn't even fully awakened theirs—were quickly subdued.

What remained were essentially non-combatant Uchiha clan members.

Kakashi lifted his head and looked toward Uchiha Mikoto.

"Lady Mikoto, please come with us."

His gaze fell on little Sasuke in her arms.

From what she had just witnessed, Mikoto understood very clearly the strength of these Hokage-direct ANBU.

No one here was their match.

Resistance would be futile—and might even lead to needless bloodshed and sacrifice.

Mikoto looked down at little Sasuke, then silently walked toward Kakashi.
