"You've won," Marie Rose said, rising slowly from her throne.
The other direct descendants looked at one another… then stood and bowed toward Alan.
"We greet the Blood King."
"Not like this," Alan said calmly.
They lifted their heads, confusion clear in their eyes.
Alan smiled—sharp and eager.
"Come," he said, raising his hand slightly.
"Fight me. All of you."
His eyes shone with unmistakable excitement.
A ripple passed through the arena.
Some stared in disbelief.
Others felt their battle instincts stir.
Marie Rose watched him carefully, her lips curving into a faint smile.
He really does love to fight, she thought.
Latina sighed softly, already knowing what was coming.
Fenrir, still recovering but fully conscious, glared at Alan.
"A man like you can't be King!" Fenrir roared.
"You'll only lead everyone to ruin—everyone except Marie Rose!"
Alan pursed his lips slightly.
"And why," he asked calmly,
"would I let others fight my battles?"
"…Huh?" Fenrir blinked, caught off guard.
Alan tilted his head.
"Why would I let others steal my fights?" he continued casually.
"Why would I let anyone take away my enjoyment?"
The arena fell silent.
"…You're saying you'll fight on your own?" Fenrir asked slowly.
"Without using us? Then why even become the Blood King?"
The other descendants stared at Alan with equal confusion.
Latina folded her arms and said flatly,
"He's a pervert… and a battle maniac."
Everyone turned toward her in shock.

Marie Rose leaned forward on her throne, her eyes gleaming with interest.
"Oh?" she asked, tilting her head slightly.
"You were attracted to me because of my power… not my beauty?"
Alan looked at her calmly.
"Hm? No—you're hot too," he said honestly.
"You're exactly my type. Beautiful and powerful."
Marie Rose studied his face carefully… and saw no hesitation, no deception—only sincerity.
