Balak's Sword as legendary but it was not that powerful so he ignored it and instead looked at the skill book.

 [ Hellfire festival]

[ Release over 100 of hell fire balls that deals 500% of magical damage in 100 meter radius to all targets and apply soul burn that deals 500 point of True damage to all targets caught in explosion for 30 seconds ]

[ Mana cost : 5,000 ]

[ Cooldown : 5 minutes ]

"It's a great skill book," Alan said as he learned it while moving toward the next Yatan servant.

In the distance stood a hunched-back old man, quietly playing a flute.

[ The Fourth Servant of the Yatan Church, Neberius, has appeared. ]

[ The sound of the flute infused with dark magic flows into your ears. ]

[ You are experiencing a loss of balance and concentration. ]

[ Evasion rate has fallen to 0%. Accuracy has decreased by 60%. Magic casting speed is twice as slow. ]

[ These effects will remain active until the sound of the flute stops. ]

[ You have resisted ]

Alan looked at the old man—the one responsible for disrupting the battlefield and making it difficult for everyone else to fight properly.

Alan landed directly in front of him. Neberius looked up and instantly unleashed dozens of Dark Thunder strikes toward Alan.

"Reversal of Light."

Alan calmly countered. The holy energy absorbed all the incoming thunder before rebounding it back toward Neberius—this time enhanced with an additional 20% holy damage.

"What—Ack!" Neberius grimaced, yet he continued playing the flute. His own thunder attacks struck him instead, and the added holy power burned through his defenses.

"That bright and golden pure light… are you a Templar?" Neberius asked cautiously.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Alan replied coolly as he activated Radiant Link—a holy sword skill that dealt 750% damage in rapid succession, striking a single target 30 times while stacking holy burn effects.

More than thirty golden sword-energy blades shot toward Neberius.

"Dark Ice Wall!"

Kwa kwa kwa kwang!

A massive ice barrier rose instantly—taller than the walls of Bairan Village.

Kwakwang!

The first few blades crashed against the barrier and shattered it, and the remaining sword energies pierced straight into Neberius's body. Unlike Balak, Neberius was a dark magician with extremely low health. Just one skill barrage reduced his health to barely 30%.

Alan's eyes sharpened.

"Pinnacle Kill."

Two sword dances unfolded simultaneously—his blade moved in unpredictable arcs, changing trajectory mid-strike. The attack ignored all defenses and struck with overwhelming force, dealing 2,000% of his attack power.

A blinding flash of sword energy exploded—

—and Neberius's body split apart under the unstoppable strike.

"Finally... To hell... By God Yatan's side... I can go..."

Flop.

The decrepit body of the old man fell to the cold floor. The whole world cheered as soon as they saw him turn to grey light.

"The flute is interesting," Alan mumbled as he picked it up. After wiping it clean, he began to play it.

A melodious sound rang out, and all players fighting against the Yatan Church invasion received a buff.

[You have heard a melodious flute sound. All stats have increased by 30%, and status resistance has risen. This effect will last for 30 seconds.]

Many were dumbfounded. White Lion—the enigmatic player who had once revealed himself and defeated top rankers—had suddenly appeared again when Bairan Village was invaded by the Yatan Church. This time, the impact was even greater, as he had defeated two named bosses alone within minutes—enemies that an entire elite guild had struggled against.

And now, once again, everyone was stunned by the powerful buff they had received.

"What is this…?" they couldn't help but exclaim at the value of the item White Lion had just obtained.

However, it was only in Alan's hands that the flute showed such value. Thanks to his high Luck stat, he gained a beneficial effect, and because he already knew how to play the flute perfectly, the results were fully maximized.

"I see… so the better the flute sounds, the greater the effect," Alan mumbled as he sat to the side and began to play.

It was a strange sight—Alan sitting alone, playing a beautiful melody amid the burning surroundings. Yet it created a strangely cinematic scene, and with his enchanting performance, he became an overnight sensation as a famous flute artist.
