"I am back here," Alan mumbled as he looked at the frontier city of Patrian.

It was a city that bordered the Gauss Kingdom. The Gauss Kingdom and the Eternal Kingdom had long been at odds, and Patrian was the fortress city that prevented the Gauss Kingdom from invading the Eternal Kingdom. The City Lord of Patrian was the Great Magician Ashur, one of the only ten known Great Magicians on the continent.

Though the Gauss Kingdom is no small fry either, its royal family has kept the Empire at bay, preventing them from occupying their lands. If not for their divided attention, it would be easy to see Gauss winning against the current Eternal Kingdom.

"Though now there is the Blood Moon Kingdom, which borders Saharan, Gauss, and Eternal," Alan thought.

"But none of them dares to enter there, even when its military might is nonexistent—all because of a single being there, Marie Rose," Alan thought. Many times, the Saharan Empire had written letters to cooperate, yet the Eternal Kingdom, whose territory had been taken to create the Blood Moon Kingdom, didn't even dare to mention the matter.

It was as if they didn't even dare to mention this matter.

Alan shook his head as he reached the smithy.

"Loyd, I am back," Alan said. From inside, a middle-aged man came out.

"You are back. Have you become strong?" he asked, patting him on the shoulders.

"What do you think?" Alan replied.

Loyd looked at him closely and was astonished. "You… you have become a legend!!" He looked absolutely dumbfounded.

"In just four years you have become a legend," he mumbled as Alan nodded.

"Yes, I have become very strong," Alan said, and Loyd nodded.

[You have completed the Quest, Becoming Stronger with Flying Colors]

"Come inside," Loyd said, inviting him in and taking him to his office as they sat there.

"To be honest, I thought you would come back after learning swordsmanship or something similar, yet you came back as a legend. I don't even know how to reward you now," Loyd said, slightly bitterly as he placed a book on the table.

"I was going to give this to you. It was a family legacy passed down in our family, but after the third generation no one was worthy enough to learn it. Not even I am capable of learning it," he said as Alan picked up the book.

[Iron Blood Warrior Class Change Book Acquired]

[It is a Unique Class Change Book]

"As you can see, you have surpassed it," Loyd sighed.

"The one who had this legacy was an powerful Blacksmith, he was like an unmovable mountain and was comrade of Loran, the first King and founder of Eternal Kingdom" Loyd said.

"He helped Loran establish this Kingdom"

Alan nodded. 'If it was just to this level, I should have come back earlier. But again, wasn't the reward based on my performance?'

"Therefore, I am going to give you something that will suit your level," Loyd said, taking out another item.

"This legacy wasn't created in our family; rather, it was acquired," he said.

"If you go to the north of the desert, you will reach the mountains where yellow mithril is mined. Just a hundred meters before the mountains, in the desert, there is a hidden labyrinth. If you can clear it, you can obtain powerful rewards," he said as Alan nodded.

"Here, this is a compass magically attuned to that place. Take it, and you will reach there," he said, placing a compass on the table.

"But be wary—it is a very difficult labyrinth," he warned, and Alan nodded.

"I will take care," Alan said.

"Okay, brat, leave now. Just because you became strong doesn't mean you should grow complacent. Continue to train hard," Loyd said as Alan nodded.

"Of course. I aim to be the strongest, after all."

"That's the spirit," Loyd said.

Alan then asked, "Can I use the smithy?"

Loyd nodded. "Of course, go on. I also want to see how much you have learned," he said as a Quest Notification appeared in front of Alan.

[Blacksmith Enlightenment]

[Description]

As a Legendary Blacksmith, you are eligible to teach others. When crafting an item, any blacksmith who watches you work will have their Blacksmith level increased by 3–5 levels. However, this effect only applies to blacksmiths who possess the Advanced Blacksmith Mastery skill.

[Quest Clear Condition]

Craft a minimum of one Unique-rated item.

[Quest Clear Reward]

Blacksmith Enlightenment Skill.

"It seems like I have to give my 100%," Alan thought as he looked at the notifications. He took out the materials and examined them carefully.

"I don't have materials that will guarantee a Unique- or higher-rated item," Alan mumbled, looking troubled.

"Well… I guess I'm going to take a risk," he said quietly as he took out a beautiful red sword.

It was Iyarugt, the sword dropped from Elfin Stone. He hadn't been able to equip it before, so it had been sitting unused in his inventory.

"It's better to use Legendary Item Reforging on it," Alan muttered as he checked the skill information.

[Legendary Reconstruction and Upgrade]

You can upgrade any piece of equipment and improve it, but there is also a chance of failure if it is handled poorly.

Each item can only be reconstructed once and you need 100% understanding of the item before you can re forge it ]

"Okay… now I can start working," Alan said. He first raised his Item Understanding of Iyarugt to 100%, carefully analyzing every detail of its structure and hidden potential during each disassembly and repair. Only after fully grasping the weapon's essence did he ignite the forge and begin the reforging process.

Unknowingly, over 30 hours passed as Alan continued to work in a deep trance. Sweat soaked his clothes, and the sound of hammer striking metal echoed endlessly through the smithy. Sparks danced like fireflies while his breathing remained calm and steady. Every strike carried intent—every movement was precise, almost mechanical, yet filled with overwhelming focus.
