"So, it was Tristan, right?" Jason asked with a bashful smile, holding out his hand for a shake.
"Ah, right. We probably should have done introductions before I started blasting you with all the facts about my plants." Trivian said with a nervous laugh, letting go of the plant he was loading onto the SUV to rub his hands on his shirt. His nervousness left the plant teetering on the edge of the bed, as it threatened to fall off and plummet to its untimely demise 50 floors down.
"I'm just a little excited, is all. Plus this feels weird, like I know you but I kinda don't at the same time.
And am I talking too much? I feel like I'm talking a lot. Like if I am talking a lot someone really needs to tell me because otherwise I will just keep talking because I really don't think I can stop-"
Jason planted his other hand on Trivian's shoulder, smiling warmly as the gesture caused Trivian to clamp his mouth shut and blush deeply.
