Torq could feel it instinctively, of the fact that in terms of the body, mind, and soul, he was now connected to Runthral.
Runthral's body was the Empyrean Spirit Snapper. His mind and soul also resided within the Empyrean Spirit Snapper. And through the bridge they shared, which had been basically manifested through Prana was the Secondary Nature.
The Secondary Nature was the bridge between the two, making the Empyrean Spirit Snapper special in that it too was sharing Torq's burden.
Runthral was an Empyrean Snapper, so he hadn't changed in any way whatsoever after becoming the Empyrean Spirit Snapper. Since it was his natural state, there was no influence to bear.
That way, from Torq's perspective, his Secondary Nature was free of influence. It wouldn't affect him in any way whatsoever. And atop that, it shouldered the burden of his Primary and Tertiary Natures.
