Sumatra Continent has outgrowths, like small tendrils growing out of it, called Enclaves. These Enclaves possess a narrow path to the Continent, serving as a chokepoint.
Each Enclave once used to be an Iron Transcendent. Upon their deaths, and in a situation where their foundation was solid enough, Sumatra Continent consumes them. The result of that was the creation of an outgrowth, the Enclave.
The name of every Enclave was based on the identity of the dead, Iron Transcendent. Sumatra has a total of 392 Enclaves. One of them was the Varahan Enclave, home to the Empyrean Boar Race.
Originally, more than 500 Empyrean Boars lived on the Enclave, until they got massacred by the Empyrean Tusks. Their sole survivor ended up becoming Sumatra's first Empyrean Boar King and had an entire era named after him.
