Meanwhile, in Stardew Valley…
Indeedee rose before dawn on its first day managing the farm alone.
Ron had left the fields spotless, and with full sprinkler coverage, irrigation wasn't a concern. All Indeedee needed to do was check which Kalos crops survived the seasonal shift, pull the wilted ones, and replant autumn seeds.
It fetched Moomoo Milk from the fridge, started a stew simmering on the stove, then began inspecting the farm—just as Ron always did—to assign tasks to the Rattata crew.
After confirming crop conditions and checking livestock, it returned to the cabin just as the stew finished.
"Indeedee!"
With a Psychic yank, it dragged every Rattata out of bed.
Last night had been their latest bedtime ever, so they were all still groggy.
"Ratta…"
"Ratta—RATTA!" One tried rolling over—only to panic mid-air when it realized it was floating.
Ron had always been lenient—letting them sleep in after late nights or busy days.
But this was Indeedee's watch.
"Indee! Deedee!" It crossed its arms, directing Rattata to wash up for breakfast.
Grumbling, they trudged to the pond, splashed water on their faces, then shuffled back—still scowling.
They climbed onto chairs, flopped onto the table, and waited for breakfast.
"Indee, dee, Indeedee," Indeedee chided, dishing out meals while assigning duties:
- Mining/Logging shifts
- Brewery teams
- Autumn planting squads
A Rattata opened its mouth to complain—then sniffed the food. Its grumbles died instantly.
Indeedee's cooking wasn't quite Ron's level—but it knew Rattata better. Able to read their minds, it tailored each dish perfectly to each and every one of them.
Using Psychic, it could orchestrate the entire kitchen at once—far more precise than Ron's rushed big-pot meals.
Bellys overruled rebellion. The Rattata obeyed without protest.
Under Indeedee's watchful eye, they paired up with Geodude and headed out.
Indeedee sent a few Rattata to dig planting holes, then set off on its first solo shopping trip.

At Pierre's General Store…
Pierre opened shop at 9 a.m., as usual. He'd normally call Abigail to help stock shelves—but he'd grown used to her absence since she started at the farm.
The door chimed. A gray-and-white Pokémon stepped in—and bowed politely.
"Ah—you, hello," Pierre stammered. "Here to buy something?"
"Indeedee~" Indeedee held out coins, ears twitching as it eavesdropped on Pierre's thoughts.
What's it after?
Sensing Pierre's intent to overcharge, Indeedee browsed the aisles, selecting autumn seeds based on his mental price list.
"Indeedee!"
"These? Hmm… that'll be—" Pierre squinted at the coins. "10,000G."
"Indeedee." Indeedee shook its head, staring pointedly.
"See, amaranth seeds are 100G each," Pierre explained, pulling one out. "Ten would be 1,000G."
"Indee." Indeedee plucked 700G from the pile.
"700G? I'd lose money! No deal."
"Dee?"
The offer dropped to 650G.
"What?!" Pierre gaped. "Even less?! Absolutely not!"
Most couldn't guess Pierre's bottom line—but Indeedee heard it loud and clear.
After much internal screaming, Pierre sold the ten amaranth seeds for 580G.
Indeedee repeated this tactic across the store, leaving with armfuls of seeds for 5,000G total.
Pierre slumped against the counter, drained.
"What's wrong, dear?" Caroline asked.
"I feel… seen through," he groaned, recounting the ordeal.
"Oh, that Pokémon? Robin mentioned it last time—Indeedee. It can read minds."
"…" Pierre sighed. "I'm starting to hate Pokémon."
Caroline laughed and took over restocking.

Back at the farm…
Indeedee planted seeds with practiced efficiency.

Meanwhile, in Kalos…
The next morning, after breakfast, Ron prepared to transfer Abigail more funds—
—but she waved him off. "No need! The League gave me a 5,000G bonus for my first badge."
Enough to buy wilderness supplies for a month.
"Ah." Ron nodded, tapping his new phone. "Message me if you run low."
Of course. Without Gym winnings, most 10-year-olds couldn't survive on the road—they'd rely on family funds.
"If I need anything…" Abigail didn't refuse outright. She winked. "But I think I've got this!"
She waved, pulled up Rotom's map, and called over her shoulder:
"Bye!"
"See ya."
Abigail jogged toward the forest.
Ron watched her go, then turned toward the ranch.
