My sight is blurry... I can't even tell where I am...
Satoru's eyes finally opened after what seemed like an eternity. He was sitting on the floor, and he was leaning on the wall. He didn't remember anything, aside from his fight with Oro and Eraser Head amputating his leg.
"You're finally awake, prince charming."
Satoru raised his head and saw Dabi lying on a sofa and watching the ceiling. He was shirtless.
"Toya-nii..." Satoru muttered. "So you really are Shoto-kun's brother..."
"It's a pity you were unconscious," Dabi said. "You should've seen Endeavor's face when he found out I am his son."
"Endeavor...?" Satoru asked. "What happened, exactly? I don't remember anything..."
"You gained All For One, almost killed your brother, beat the shit out of your friends, and helped us win the war."
Mato's eyes widened. "I... did that...?"
"Yeah, you did that."
Mato crumbled on his knees and vomited. I... I can't believe I almost killed Hikaru... was I mind-controlled by All For One? Or was I just fooled by the immense power I've gained...?
Once he had finished vomiting, Mato stood up and wiped his mouth. "Toya-nii... where are the others?"
"Dunno," said Dabi. "All For One asked me to keep you with me, since I'm the one you're most attached to."
"Do you think... they'll forgive me for what I did?"
"Of course they won't. I mean, you're a Villain, aren't you?"
"I'm not sure I'm a Villain anymore, Toya-nii... I don't know what's gotten into me during the war, but I'd never do what I did to my friends!"
"Then there's only one explanation."
"What?"
"You were either controlled by All For One, or you developed a double personality."
"Double... personality...?" Mato repeated. That's why I don't remember almost anything...
"I wouldn't be surprised if you developed a double personality. I mean, your suffering isn't comparable to mine, but let's say your life wasn't all unicorns and rainbows."
Mato stood up. "Toya-nii, I probably shouldn't say this to you, but I want to make it up to my friends."
"Understandable," Dabi got up from the sofa. "After all, you're just a teenager having a mental breakdown."
"Is it just me, or have your burns gotten worse?" Mato asked. "You used your flames much, haven't you?"
"Indeed," said Dabi. "Damn, I'm pretty badly burned, I can't feel a thing."
"You know you shouldn't overuse your flames, Toya-nii..."
"What now? You started to call everyone in the League with the '-nii' honorific?"
"That's not true, I use it only for you and Tomura-nii."
A thought suddenly came to Satoru's mind. "Where's Himiko-chan?"
"Sorry, no clue," said Dabi. "Please, don't freak out. I'm sure she's fine."
"I hope so..." Mato looked outside the window. "You know how much I love her."
"You're a simp."
"Shut up, Toya-nii."
"That's the truth."
"I'm not a simp!"
"You are. Even if you have a girlfriend, you cling to Toga every time you're together."
"That's called attachment, not being a simp."
Wait, now that Toya-nii mentions it... dammit, Mei-chan! I should tell her what happened!
"Toya-nii... I'm going somewhere."
"Where?"
"Can't tell ya. I go and I come back."
"Be quick."
Mato used his Teleport Quirk and teleported in Musutafu.
"Now, where is she...?" he used, now using his Search Quirk. "There she is!"
__________
"Mei-chan!" Mato landed on the floor. "Finally, I found you..."
Mei turned to face him. "Hideki-kun..."
She took a few steps closer and slapped Mato's face. "You're disgusting."
Mato massaged his cheek. "...Huh...?"
"If I had known that my boyfriend was a Villain, I would never have agreed to go out with you."
"Mei-chan, let me explain..."
"No. There's nothing you can say that can make me change my idea of you."
Mato clenched his fists. "I wanted to tell you, I just couldn't!"
"Save your excuses. It's over between us two."
Mato's eyes widened. "N-no, wait, Mei-chan..."
"I've spent months of my life hanging out with a Villain..." Mei turned and started to leave. "I even bought you an action figure of Oro... you can throw it away, I don't care... You lied to me this whole time... I even thought you were the right guy for me! But it looks like I was wrong."
"Consider yourself single, Akiyama Satoru. Or should I say, Mato?"
Mei walked away. Satoru's heart shattered into a million pieces.
(In that moment, I didn't cry out. I didn't ask her to forgive me. I didn't ask her to stay. I just stared at the floor, knowing that the weight of my actions was paying off. I knew that I'd been doing the wrong thing over and over again. After 17 years of my life, I understood that my actions were wrong and that there was no point in being a villain. I had lost my girlfriend, the trust of my friends, and my brother.)
(I lost everything.)

"Let me talk with that asshole!" Bakugo shouted.
"You can't!"
Oro opened the door of his room. "Please, Young Bakugo... don't shout, my head's still spinning."
"Oro-san!" Bakugo noticed him as he broke free from Tsuyu's tongue. "Are you sure you can stand?"
"Yeah, I can," said Oro. "I'm the Number One Hero, what do you think?"
"You scared me, Oro-san..." Bakugo muttered. "If the Hero I esteem more in the world died, then I..."
Oro placed his hand on Bakugo's head. "Fear not, Young Bakugo. I know what you're thinking. I'm going to save Satoru."
"I... I thought we were friends..." Bakugo said. "But he just lied to everyone..."
"Instead of blaming him, try to understand him," said Oro. "I'm going to fix everything. I'm the Number One Hero, and that's my duty."
Bakugo looked into Oro's eyes. "Arigatou, Oro-san."

(Three days have passed since the incident. The panic shows no signs of abating, but I don't think everyone wants to blame someone. Endeavor publicly apologized to everyone after Toya-nii's confession. All Might had revealed to Hawks, Best Jeanist, and maybe even Endeavor about One For All, but didn't say anything about it to avoid further panic. What about me, you ask? Well... see by yourself.)

"Guys, we have a problem!" Tetsutetsu burst into the hall. "I found a letter from Hid under my door!"
"Yeah, me too!" said Setsuna.
"Did we all receive it?" Togaru asked.
"Seems like it..." Yosetsu said.
"What the hell is this story!?" Monoma wondered.
Itsuka grabbed her letter.
"Dear Itsuka,
I'm sorry for everything. I know any type of apology will never be enough to justify or excuse me.
I am a Villain, that's the undeniable truth. My real name is Satoru Akiyama, and my Villain name is Mato. I have been a Villain since the first day of school, and I infiltrated U.A. to gain information about everyone.
I'm not asking you to forgive me, because it'll be morally wrong.
I'm just asking you to forget about me. Don't search for me, don't text me, I won't respond, nor will I show up. I won't frequent U.A. next year, I decided to leave for your own sake.
If you're not even reading this letter, it's understandable. There's no excuse for what I did.
Thank you for welcoming me as one of your own. I will never forget you.
Sincerely, your friend Hideki."
"Tch, Baka..." Itsuka muttered. "What's gotten into his mind...?"

Elsewhere
On top of a roof, there was a boy. A grey scarf, a black jacket, a pair of black boots, and a sad look on his face, which was covered by his scarf.
Satoru.
"If I disguise myself, they won't find me..." he muttered, looking at the sky. "And yet, I'm back to the lifestyle I had before entering U.A."
