Every one he made, he brought it to the old man who tasted it. But the old man would have a disappointed look as he shook his head.
"It's not it," he would say.
And Ren would sigh. He couldn't give up, so he proceeded to look for more ingredients and make more soups. For hours, he continued making them.
Wasn't it just soup? Why was it so hard?!
He continued to make them while the old man tasted and simply shook his head in disapproval.
Ren wasn't getting anywhere close to making the soup the old man wanted.
