The face welcomed Ren with a bright smile as he majestically waved his fan. "They're in a safe space, so don't worry. Nothing will happen to them."
Ren stared at him. "You...."
He smiled. "Didn't you want to meet me? The God of Fate. Here I am." There was something calm about his whole existence.
He spoke in a soft, pretty tone. And he spoke with such calmness that anyone around him was bound to feel at ease.
"The God of Fate....?" Ren confirmed.
He smiled with a nod. "Yes. But I appreciate people calling me by my name instead. Ming Yu." He smiled. "It means Fate."
Ren slowly nodded. "Ah, I see..."
Ming Yu chuckled as he approached. "You don't have to stand on ceremony. It's not like this is our first time meeting at all." He approached the table. "Besides, I've been waiting for you for a while now. See, I've kept our promise of sharing a drink under a tree in a pleasant atmosphere."
He chuckled as he took a seat before the table, looking up at Ren.
