The Moon Goddess's declaration reaches the wolf world through the lunar channels with the full force of a divine authority applying the most significant category of condemnation available in the divine-wolf relationship framework. Not heretic, which was the first designation, the one that branded me as operating outside the acceptable parameters of the lunar-wolf relationship. Anathema — the specific declaration of total rejection, the removal of the anathema-marked from the protections that the divine-wolf relationship provides and the designation of the anathema-marked as something that every participating wolf in the lunar arrangement is obligated to act against.
