Chapter 202: Forced Execution

Konoha Grand Library.

"Knowledge... there is truly no end to learning!"

Tonbo Tobitake flipped through various specialized books. He was no longer limited to medical texts; he was absorbing knowledge from all fields. Given his current status, the amount of information he could access had grown exponentially.

In the past, his channels were limited to learning things like jutsu development from people like Inoichi Yamanaka. Now, he could not only utilize his professional convenience to view annotations on various high-level ninjutsu, but he also didn't need to rack up special merits to do so. As long as it didn't involve secret clan techniques, ordinary ninjutsu theory was as accessible to him as a common novel.

Aside from reading, he spent most of his time physical training and developing the third stage of Contact Evolution. This was the application phase of his technique.

"Even with the metaphysical aid of chakra, this jutsu is still incredibly difficult!"

When he first conceptualized it, he knew it would be a challenge. Now, even with his increased chakra reserves and vast knowledge, it still felt like a mountain to climb.

Forced Execution!

This was the name Tonbo had given to the third stage of his technique. According to his vision, the nerves in this stage would reach into the microscopic dimensions of micrometers, nanometers, atoms, neutrons, electrons, and even quarks. Once his nerves invaded a target—whether it be an enemy, an object, or pure energy—he could interfere from the microscopic world.

At this level, microscopic leverage was key. As long as the nerves possessed a certain degree of structural strength, they could act as a lever to move the world. Very little force would be required to cause massive macroscopic effects from a microscopic starting point. To achieve this, he needed to borrow structural concepts from the Susanoo and integrate them into his technique to reinforce the nerves he created.

By combining this with his Genjutsu capabilities and the integration of all his knowledge, he would reach his goal. If he could penetrate deeper into the microscopic world, the same amount of force would yield exponentially more powerful destruction.

Furthermore, to defend against massive attacks like Tailed Beast Bombs, he needed the chakra-absorption ability he had analyzed from Samehada. When his nerves invaded a lifeform or energy mass, he could hijack the target's own chakra to fuel his nerves' further expansion at a low cost to himself. Once a target was infected, everything about them would fall under his absolute control.

Of course, this goal was incredibly difficult. Reaching the microscopic world was simple to say but absurdly hard to implement, even with chakra. It wasn't as simple as adding a bit of this element and a dash of that. It was like making a smartphone in his previous world; everyone could say "add a feature here and there," but creating a masterpiece that actually worked was a different story.

This jutsu required the total integration and unification of all his knowledge. But if completed, the result would be magnificent. Who could withstand a "touch and it's Game Over" ability?

The thought made his passion for research burn even hotter. "Indeed, knowledge is the ladder of human progress."

Tonbo didn't fall into a state of fanatical, shut-in research. Much like a reader enjoys a good novel, he balanced his work with his life. He spent time educating his children, accompanying his wife, and going to work.

The Analytical Team was exactly what he thought it would be when he first arrived in this world: "Konoha's brick"—wherever something needed to be built, they were hauled over. He rotated through shifts as a Konoha patroller, a guest instructor at the Ninja Academy, and even helped the Third Hokage process documents.

He had truly "made it," even assisting in the Hokage's office. He wasn't sure what the Third was thinking; the Hokage's job was indeed exhausting. No wonder Asuma was rebellious, and Boruto would be in the future.

As time passed, Konoha began to grow lively.

Konoha Main Gate.

"Yosh! I'm first!"

"As expected of Guy-sensei! You won again! Next time, I will definitely be first!"

Might Guy and Rock Lee skidded to a halt in a cloud of dust in front of the gate. Neji and Tenten arrived a moment later.

"Sensei, you have too much energy," Tenten panted, complaining.

"Pointless," Neji remarked.

Lee flashed his white teeth, his eyes burning with determination. "Only a burning youth can produce true miracles!"

Guy gave a thumbs up. "Well said, my disciple! This is youth!"

"Hey, Guy, stop playing around. Register your return."

Inside the registration booth, Tonbo Tobitake, Izumo Kamizuki, and Kotetsu Hagane were sitting there, looking bored.

"Hmm? Tonbo? Why are you pulling gate duty? Surely you aren't that idle?" Guy looked at him suspiciously. "Could it be you're waiting for me? Fine! We shall have a youthful battle!"

Before Tonbo could reply, Guy had already decided.

"Who wants to fight you? I have no interest in fighting a single dog without a wife. Besides, I'm not idle. The Joint Chunin Exams with the allied nations are starting soon. I'm here to safeguard Konoha's security, got it?" Tonbo sucked on a lollipop—actually a specially flavored food pill.

"Oh? Is it already time for the Chunin Exams?" Guy asked. Being as sharp as he was, he didn't let himself get distracted by Tonbo's "single dog" comment.

"Yeah. And it's a joint exam. Only a few days left. These three little guys should be ready to participate, right?" Tonbo looked at Lee, Neji, and Tenten.

Their current strength was nothing like the original story. Their combat experience was vastly superior. Although their bodies weren't fully grown yet—preventing a massive leap in raw power—they were already solid core fighters. They were more than ready for the exams; the only question was whether Guy's leadership had taught them the right mindset. Being a Chunin wasn't just about strength; it was about the brain—specifically, a leader's brain.

"Guy-sensei, are we ready?" Lee looked at Guy earnestly, then glanced at Neji. Can hard work beat a genius? Absolutely!

"Lee, of course we are! We've become very strong!" Tenten said confidently. Her strength had grown significantly, and she had even invented several useful ninja tools that had passed field tests. She was dying to show off her skills and move one step closer to becoming a woman like Lady Tsunade.

Neji remained expressionless, looking at Tonbo. He felt this man had become even more terrifying. He hadn't even activated his Byakugan, but he just had an instinctive feeling. He tightened his fist. "It doesn't matter. Destiny is already set..."

"Of course! My disciples are the best! A mere Chunin Exam will surely be conquered!" Guy gave another thumbs up. After over a year of training and mission experience, the three of them had long possessed the ability to become Chunin. He had only held them back a year to polish their skills.

"Aha, quite the spirit. If you perform well, I'll reward you with another Battlefield Simulation training session. How about it? Do you have the confidence?" Tonbo smiled at the energetic trio.

"Ohhh! As expected of Tonbo! How generous! I'll accept on their behalf!" Guy's eyes shone with determination. Seeking benefits for his disciples was a teacher's duty.

Lee was already moved to tears. Only Tenten remained somewhat speechless. She... wasn't exactly looking forward to that level of "intense" combat training again...
