Because Noah possessed Refinement authority, there was a chance for rewards to increase by one tier.
That meant Epic grade was possible.
But only possible.
Even if Epic items appeared in the pool, they weren't guaranteed to drop. The gap between a Third Order instance and Epic-grade rewards was simply too large. Even with bonuses from first clear, Extreme difficulty, SSS evaluation, and authority privileges, the probability remained extremely low.
So seeing no Epic-grade items in the rewards list didn't bother him.
It didn't matter.
He had Specify Reward.
That was the real advantage.
As long as an item appeared anywhere in the drop pool—
no matter how low its probability—
he could forcibly choose it.
