As she spoke, she sobbed, holding onto the hem of my coat as she knelt Infront of me. I didn't quite understand her reason for feeling emotional, but I knew how she felt. To feel like you did not measure up to the standard your predecessors leave.

The golden Mana harmonized into the shape of an infinity sign around our hands as the contract was edged onto our souls. As a sign of completion, a symbol appeared behind our hands and receded into our skin.
