I heard them all. It wasn't like they were being subtle. No. The nasty looks they threw at me told me I had already overstayed my welcome. Not that I gave a fuck what they thought.
"…I hope the Mingyu guy wins." That voice was familiar. I whipped my head in that direction, coming face to face with my sister, her spiteful gaze on me while she leaned toward one of my brothers.
Maybe it was because it came from my sister, but my heart stung. I knew she probably wouldn't have said that if she knew it was me, but that didn't make it hurt any less.
