Sigh… I truly didn't know if I should be connecting my Soul Link with people at all, or if I should actually start doing it far more often than I had been doing so far.
"Benjamin...? You're crying…" Isabelle turned away from the rampaging Clay to look directly at me, her eyes widening slightly as she noticed the tears that were steadily rolling down my face.
"No, nothing," I replied quickly, trying to keep my voice steady even though it wavered a little, "I think Clay needs help."
"Yes, at this rate, she is far too unpredictable."
No, I meant something else entirely: Clay needs help, not with these Titans in front of us… She needs real mental and soul help, the kind that goes much deeper than any battlefield could ever reach.
These Titans are the ones who actually need the most help right now, if anything.
Clay was clearly not in any kind of reasonable state at the moment.
