"Wait, wait, wait! Just one moment, all of you!" Benjamin yelled, raising his voice enough to stop the rapid and chaotic conversation in its tracks, his hands waving frantically in the air between them. "You all... You all know that Sara is your sister?!"
The three girls all blushed deeply, their cheeks turning shades, and they began to shift nervously where they sat on the bed, avoiding Benjamin's questioning gaze as they fidgeted with their hands and adjusted their clothing, or looked anywhere but directly at his face.
"Y-Yeah, we have known about Sara being our sister for a while now," Martha finally admitted, scratching the back of her head sheepishly, keeping her eyes fixed on a spot somewhere over his left shoulder. "For about some decades, we learned the truth of our family connections."
"No, how did YOU know about it, Benjamin?" Heka tilted her head to one side suspiciously, her eyes narrowing as she studied his face for any sign of deception or hidden knowledge.
