"Jane?"
When I entered my cabin, Jane was already inside, sitting in my desk chair with her legs crossed, slightly swinging the top one. She had red lipstick on her lips, making them brighter and more alluring. And overall, she had applied light makeup, which was uncharacteristic for her.
"John, hi... I thought you might not show up today."
"Well... why wouldn't I? I just decided that congratulating Anderson on his new position was better done in person rather than through a call."
"A new position? For the Captain?"
"Yes, he is now the human Ambassador to the Citadel."
"Wow!"
Jane, judging by the eyes lighting up with delight, was very happy for Anderson. However, as soon as this was announced, everyone on the ship would feel that joy.
"Exactly, exactly..."
I nodded.
"...and what are you doing here?"
"Well..."
She cast a glance at me, and this time there were so many emotions in that look that if they could become an ocean, its depth would be almost infinite.
"I just thought that I wouldn't want to fall behind the girls you pay attention to, and considering my profession and your profession... in short, tomorrow or the day after could very well be our last day. And therefore..."
Her tongue ran across her upper lip.
"...I consider putting off our closer acquaintance to be foolishness."
"Closer?"
I took a couple of steps toward her, and she stood up from the chair, ending up right in front of me. In this position, it was very convenient for me to grab her by the ass, but first, I decided to carefully tuck a strand of hair behind her ear, stroking her cheek with my thumb, touching the corner of her lips.
"I'm not against it, but are you ready for this yourself?"
"I..."
My index finger ended up on her lips, and my other hand, sliding down her body, came to rest on her toned butt, which was hugged by her dress.
"Shhh... You see, I am a very greedy creature, and if you decide to take this step, I won't want to let you go. Nothing will depend on you in this matter anymore..."
I decided to embellish reality a bit, or rather, to darken the colors. I didn't actually intend to hold her against her will, but I really can be somewhat despotic, and she'd better be ready for that.
"...besides, I am the head of a corporation, and that will make you a target for both those who just want to know the secrets I hide and those who want to hurt me by killing you."
"John..."
She kissed my finger, leaving a red lipstick mark on it.
"...I made my choice when I decided to come here. And you won't be able to talk me out of it. I want to be near you... especially... since there will be a war soon... and I, you know, really want to feel the taste of the rich life. You won't leave your woman without a means of existence, will you?"
There was a mockery in her eyes and voice, by which I realized that she was also darkening the colors a bit.
"Of course, I won't."
My second hand ended up on Jane's ass, and I pressed her to me, then lifted her slightly. Turning with her while looking into her eyes, I headed for the bed. She couldn't withstand the gaze and covered my lips with hers.

We woke up in bed; Jane was lying with her leg thrown over me and her head resting on my shoulder. At the same time, the room didn't have the most pleasant aroma of sweat and everything else. But that smell couldn't spoil my mood.
For a while, I just lay there and admired the girl, who was snoring softly, but the clock, which I could also see from this angle, was mercilessly counting down the minutes. Minutes until my appointed time, by which I had to arrive at Tevos's office.
"Hey..."
Gently nudging Jane in the shoulder, I made her wince, and then she slowly opened her eyes and looked at me.
"John?"
"Good morning, Little Fox."
"Mhm..."
"I would gladly lie with you a bit longer, but... Tevos is calling me to the carpet, so I think we need to get up and get ourselves in order."
"Mhm..."
Jane sighed and rubbed her nose against my neck. However, she was in no hurry to get up.
"Jane?"
"Eh... alright, I'll go to the shower, I'll have to let you go to another woman... and one I don't approve of, at that..."
And if she had spoken in a slightly different tone, I might have thought she was jealous. However, that wasn't the case. She was just teasing me.
