"Yellow Home!"
Entering the city, led by Star-Lord, Adam and the others quickly arrived in front of a brightly lit establishment. From the entrance, they could already see the Raiders inside having a wild time.
"This isn't suitable for ladies. You all wait outside for me; I'll go find Yondu."
Star-Lord cleared his throat and said.
Gamora and Nebula snorted coldly upon hearing this but didn't object.
Given their experiences, how could they not know this was an entertainment venue providing special services to customers with female androids, which was not uncommon in the black market.
"Why isn't it suitable for ladies? I see many women in there, don't I?"
Drax looked utterly confused.
Rocket laughed mockingly:
"Big guy, can't you tell those are all robots?"
"Alright, go in quickly; we'll wait for you outside."
Adam waved his hand, urging Star-Lord to hurry.
He knew Star-Lord didn't want them to go in, not just to spare Gamora and Nebula embarrassment, but primarily because he wanted to talk to Yondu beforehand and verify if what he said was true.
Even though he had mentioned earlier that he could read minds, everyone still subconsciously ignored this ability of his.
In fact, he could sense their little thoughts anytime he wanted.
In this regard, his mental abilities were no longer inferior to Professor X's.
After Star-Lord went in, Drax couldn't help but complain:
"Robots, why make such ugly robots?"
"They are pretty ugly."
Adam nodded in rare agreement.
His aesthetic was that of a normal Earthling, and most of the unique beings in the Universe seemed strange to him.
This included Gamora, who Star-Lord considered a great beauty; her green skin was something he found impossible to accept.
He wasn't the type who would say, "Don't remove your makeup, I just love Avatar."
"Agreed, they don't have any fur."
Rocket Raccoon put his hands on his hips and also nodded.
Even with intelligence surpassing humans, the inherited aesthetic in one's genes is very difficult to change. It's impossible for a Raccoon to find hairless humans attractive.
"I am Groot."
Groot said that nature was the most beautiful.
Gamora and Nebula exchanged glances, and both sisters shook their heads simultaneously.
They thought Adam and the others had abnormal aesthetics. In the Universe, this ginger-yellow model of female robot conformed to the aesthetic preferences of almost eighty percent of male creatures.
About twenty minutes later, Star-Lord emerged from the Yellow Home, accompanied by Yondu, who had blue skin, and Yondu's ferocious Raiders subordinates.
"I heard Quill say you're going to find Ego?"
Yondu came directly to Adam and asked.
Adam smiled and nodded:
"That's right. If you just tell me Ego's coordinates, I can give you a hundred million as a reward."
"I won't tell you Ego Planet's coordinates, nor will I let Quill go to Ego Planet with you. You don't know how terrifying he is; you're going to your deaths."
Yondu refused without hesitation.
Star-Lord's eyes widened at this:
"You didn't tell me that just now. If all this is true, then I—"
But before he could finish his sentence, Yondu interrupted him:
"I was just lying to you. You little liar often lie to me too. How much money and effort did I spend raising you? If you don't earn it back for me, don't even think about dying like this."
"That's a hundred million! He was originally cargo, cargo to be delivered to an employer, but you were soft-hearted towards him. Yondu, tell him the coordinates, send this cargo back to where he was supposed to go, and we can get a hundred million. How many years would it take us to get this much money, and without any risk!"
Upon hearing Yondu refuse a hundred million, his Raider subordinates were the first to object.
They followed Yondu because he was ruthless and strong enough to lead them to make big money. Now, Yondu was refusing a hundred million for Peter's safety.
"I think I've been too lenient with you all!"
Yondu's face darkened, and with a whistle, the Yaka Arrow on his waist immediately flew out and hovered beside him.
In an instant, all his subordinates fell silent.
Because they had all witnessed the power of Yondu's Yaka Arrow; if Yondu wanted to, he could kill all of them right there with the Yaka Arrow.
"No need, I already know, Peter, let's go!"
However, at this moment, Adam smiled, turned, and gestured for Star-Lord to follow.
In just that short time of conversation, he had already used Legilimency to read Yondu's memories and learned Ego Planet's interstellar coordinates.
Star-Lord's eyes lit up at this, and then he followed.
Yondu, however, frowned. He didn't know if Adam was bluffing, but the safest way now was not to let these few people leave Contraxia.
"Capture them!"
So, he gave his subordinates the order to capture them.
His Raiders immediately became excited upon hearing this. They thought that since Adam could offer a hundred million in reward, his net worth must be far more than that. Would they still worry about money if they captured Adam?
As for the broken rules on this Planet, since they were all exiled Raiders anyway, it didn't matter. They would just capture him and immediately flee this Planet.
With money, there was nowhere they couldn't go.
Unfortunately, just as they were about to move, they found their bodies instantly stiff and unable to move. No matter how hard they tried, it was useless.
"What's going on?"
Seeing his subordinates frozen in place, with only their rolling eyeballs proving they were still alive, Yondu's expression changed. He realized that the information Peter had given him about Adam might not have been so exaggerated after all.
Originally, he hadn't believed it; after all, extending a hand to eliminate an entire intermediate asteroid belt and breathing Fire to dry up the sea sounded ridiculous.
"Then let's see if you can block my full-power Yaka Arrow!"
Yondu blew his whistle, and the Yaka Arrow immediately shot towards Adam's thigh at a speed difficult for the naked eye to perceive.
He felt that if Adam couldn't even block his Yaka Arrow, then he certainly wouldn't be a match for Ego, the Living Planet, and there would be no need to take Peter to his death.
If Adam was really as powerful as Peter said, then he couldn't stop him, and he would just let it be.
"He actually blocked it!"
The Yaka Arrow, difficult for the naked eye to see, stopped about a meter away from Adam, as if it had hit an invisible air wall, being forced to a halt.
He tried to change direction but found that his mouth was smoking from whistling, yet the Yaka Arrow seemed to be entangled by an invisible force, unable to move.
"Father, don't worry about me, I'll come back safely and take care of you in your old age!"
Just then, he saw Star-Lord, who was next to Adam, raise his hand, wave at him, and then shout loudly.
"You brat, who's your father?"
Yondu grumbled dismissively, but his face was full of a fatherly smile.
