This time, the Specters' attack on the Sanctuary seemed dangerous, but it wasn't a major issue.
If Athena hadn't decided to die once to go to the Underworld and completely end Hades, those Specters would have had no chance at all. Moreover, the Gold Saints resurrected by Hades were not truly loyal to Hades.
So there's no need to rush over. It's not too late to help Seiya find his sister first, gain her trust, and then go assist.
Following the Owl, they soon arrived at a small river outside a Village, where a seventeen or eighteen-year-old girl was washing clothes.
"An Owl here, and a letter?"
The girl looked at the Owl that landed in front of her, and the letter it held in its mouth, a surprised expression on her face.
Just then, behind her, a strange boy's voice suddenly rang out.
"Sister, I finally found you, Sister!"
The moment Seiya saw the girl washing clothes from the air, he recognized her; it was his sister Seika, whom he hadn't seen in seven years.
However, when Seika saw Seiya rushing towards her, her face was filled with confusion.
"Sir, who are you? I don't think I know you?"
"Sister, I'm Seiya!"
Hearing Seika's words, Seiya was stunned. His own sister didn't recognize him.
"Seiya?"
Seika heard the name and felt it was exceptionally familiar and intimate, but she couldn't recall where she had heard it before.
"I'm sorry, you might have the wrong person."
Adam then stepped forward, retrieved the Owl, and looked at Seika, asking:
"Miss, have you ever suffered a head injury and subsequently lost your previous memories?"
"How did you know that?
Grandpa said I fell from the mountain seven years ago, and he saved me. I really don't remember anything before the fall."
Seika replied with a surprised expression.
Besides Grandpa, no one else in the Village knew about this.
"Your sister hit her head. I'll just heal her."
Patting Seiya's shoulder, Adam raised his hand and cast magic towards Seika, releasing all the memories sealed deep within her mind due to the severe head trauma.
"You're Seiya, my brother Seiya!"
Affected by Adam's magic, Seika's body stiffened, and then all her lost memories returned. She hugged Seiya and started crying.
Shun, standing nearby, immediately teared up at the sight, remembering his brother Ikki.
"Thank you, Mr. Adam, thank you for helping me find my sister!"
After his emotions stabilized, Seiya immediately bowed ninety degrees to Adam, his face full of gratitude.
Adam was about to speak when suddenly, several unusually powerful Cosmo energies erupted from the Sanctuary.
"Oh no, something happened at the Sanctuary!"
Seiya and Shun reacted simultaneously. Such powerful Cosmo could only belong to Gold Saints.
"Sister, wait for me in the Village. My friends and I need to go to the Sanctuary!"
After a few words to Seika, the three quickly rushed towards the Sanctuary.
Within the Sanctuary, there was a Barrier set up by Athena during the Age of Myths. Even Gold Saints could not teleport or fly within the Sanctuary.
With their speed, in just a few seconds, they arrived at the entrance of the Aries Palace, the first of the Twelve Gold Palaces.
They also happened to witness Mu, the Aries Gold Saint, being beaten by Deathmask.
"Pegasus Ryuseiken!"
The impulsive Seiya immediately unleashed his Pegasus Ryuseiken, sending Deathmask flying.
Although Seiya did not have his pegasus cloth on him at this time due to Adam, his awakened Seventh Sense Cosmo alone was on par with an average Gold Saint.
The cloth primarily protects the Saints' physical bodies, with limited enhancement to their Cosmo.
Furthermore, Deathmask was originally one of the weakest Gold Saints, and now he was wearing a temporarily created Specter's Surplice, making his strength even lower than it was when he was alive.
"Seiya, Shun, and who is this?"
Mu looked at Adam and the two others who appeared before him, a puzzled expression on his face.
Before Adam could introduce himself, Seiya questioned Mu.
"Mu, why aren't you fighting back? With your strength, how could you be passively taking hits?"
As he spoke, he turned to look at the figures wearing Specter's Surplices, an incredulous look on his face.
"Deathmask, Aphrodite, didn't they die before? Are they ghosts?"
There were three people standing before them. Two were the Gold Saints who died in the Battle of the Twelve Palaces a year ago, and the other was hooded, his face obscured.
Mu replied with a heavy tone:
"They are not ghosts. They are now Specters of Hades, King of the Underworld."
Next, Mu briefly explained the Holy War.
"Therefore, the upcoming battle is not something you Bronze Saints can participate in. Go back quickly!"
He knew the cruelty of the Holy War well. In the last Holy War, only two Saints survived, so he didn't want Seiya and the others, who were not strong enough, to get involved now. This was also Athena's wish.
"We are also Saints! We also want to participate in the battle and protect Athena!"
Seiya and Shun clearly disagreed with Mu's order.
Just then, Deathmask and Aphrodite seized the opportunity to ambush Seiya and Shun from behind.
"Let's talk this over, no need to rush into fighting!"
However, their fists hadn't even reached Seiya and Shun before they were blocked by a pair of hands.
It was Adam, who had been standing by, making his move.
He didn't directly kill the "seafood duo," partly because he knew that Deathmask and Aphrodite had repented after their deaths, and their current presence wasn't truly due to accepting Hades's temptation to kill Athena.
Instead, they were to perform an "Infernal Affairs" act with the former Pope of Sanctuary, Shion.
On the surface, they were to break through the Twelve Palaces to kill Athena, but in reality, it was only to meet Athena of this generation and tell her that only her blood could unlock Athena's cloth. With the cloth, Athena could then confront Hades.
This was a secret known only to the Pope of Sanctuary.
Unfortunately, the former Pope Shion was killed during Saga's rebellion and didn't have time to pass on this secret.
On the other hand, these were all vital forces for confronting Hades later.
It didn't matter if they died. Since their souls were here, they could simply be resurrected through reincarnation.
"What are you? You can block both our punches at once!"
Deathmask and Aphrodite looked at Adam, who single-handedly blocked both their attacks, a puzzled expression in their eyes.
They didn't know Adam, nor did they remember such a strong Saint existing in the Sanctuary.
Anyone who could simultaneously block both their attacks would have to be at least Gold Saint level.
The appearance of this unexpected person clearly disrupted their previous plan, so both of them turned to look at Shion.
