On Dorian's orders, the knights moved immediately, surrounding the rank III monster as they slowly closed in with their weapons raised.
The demonic crocodile watched the movement.
Its enormous tail suddenly lashed out violently, sweeping through the air and striking the knights' shields with brutal force. The impact reverberated like a hammer against metal, forcing several of them to take two steps back as the formation shook for a moment.
Then the creature charged.
His body lunged forward like a living battering ram, crushing everything beneath his weight as his enormous jaw snapped open with a terrifying crack, ready to tear apart the first knight within reach.
But Dorian had already moved.
His figure crossed the battlefield in a flash of steel.
CLANG!
The sword struck the monster's scales with a metallic clang, deflecting its jaw just enough for it to snap shut in midair, mere inches from the knight who had been on the verge of death.
Dorian didn't waste a moment.
