Chapter 238 - Vourukasha Oasis

Lora took a deep breath, calmed the strange emotions stirring in her heart, and stepped into Vourukasha Oasis.

The moment she set foot inside, the Harvisptokhm grew new branches, as if welcoming her return.

This strange phenomenon also affected the Pari living there. They quickly sensed that Lora had entered the oasis, and Zurvan, the first Pari, felt her approach at once.

So Lora had barely taken a few steps inside when Zurvan appeared before her.

Pari had no expressions, but Lora could still sense the excitement in Zurvan's current state.

"It has been several hundred years, hasn't it... Mistress of Water, kind and gentle mother, you have actually freed yourself from the Harvisptokhm. It is truly unbelievable. Great Deity, your child Zurvan greets you."

Zurvan gazed at Lora, unable to hide the excitement in its heart.

It had not felt this excited in hundreds of years.

The Pari were lives created by the combined power of Greater Lord Rukkhadevata, the Goddess of Flowers, and Lora. In that sense, all three of them were mothers to the Pari.

Lora gently stroked Zurvan's head and said, "Can you call all the children here?"

"No problem!" Zurvan spun once in the air, then quickly went off to gather the other Pari.

After the Pari gathered, they circled around their mother, each one showing excitement and joy.

Lora comforted them one by one.

These poor Pari had lost their elders from the moment they were created. But they had no time to grieve. They had to work with humans to cleanse the pollution in Tunigi Hollow.

Lora looked at Zurvan again and said, "I will completely resolve the Sign of Apaosha, and I will also purify the pollution at Tunigi Hollow. But before that, I need to go to the Amrita Pool."

Zurvan looked toward a pale green Pari at the side. That Pari flew over and said, "Great Deity, I am Fedhri, the Pari responsible for guarding the Amrita Pool! I will take you there!"

"Good." Lora nodded slightly, then said to Zurvan, "Then, Zurvan, take the other children and leave Vourukasha Oasis. Go somewhere safe..."

Zurvan shook its head and said to Lora, "Great Deity, our clan cannot run from its duty! We will not retreat. No matter what happens, we will stay with you..."

"This is only a precaution." Lora sighed. She understood what Zurvan meant, so she did not force the issue.

Lora followed Fedhri deeper into the oasis and arrived at the Amrita Pool.

Looking at the pool, countless thoughts filled her mind.

This pool of water was her past self.

In other words, the current Lora could not truly be considered the complete Hydro Archon Egeria. This body was not a divine body, but only a mobile vessel formed by gathering water with divine power.

Lora walked to the edge of the Amrita Pool and crouched down. She reached her hand into the water. The moment her hand touched it, the entire pool began to boil. Every drop of water cheered with joy, and every bead of water rushed eagerly toward her hand.

Pure light burst upward, gathering around Lora's body and dancing with her.

The light merged with the water of the Amrita Pool and flowed into her body.

Wrapped in light and flowing water, Lora's body continuously broke apart and reformed.

Time passed, second by second, while Fedhri watched the transformation without blinking.

When the water of the Amrita Pool had completely dried up and the light slowly dimmed, Lora was still standing there. It seemed as though nothing had changed, yet also as though everything had changed. She was still Lora, but she no longer seemed quite the same as before.

She had taken back her divine body. She no longer needed to rely on divine power to gather water into a physical form.

Lora looked at Fedhri beside her and said, "Let's go. It's time to deal with the pollution here."

"Yes, Great Deity!" Fedhri nodded.

It was extremely excited. After personally witnessing its deity's miracle, its reverence for her had become even more devout and fervent.

Zurvan had already assigned every Pari to their posts. They had all spread out in different directions across Vourukasha Oasis, forming a defensive line around it.

Once Fedhri returned, she quickly joined them.

Zurvan said to Lora, "Great Deity, the Pari clan is ready. Even if any pollution leaks out, we will do everything we can to stop it. Please be at ease!"

"You don't need to do everything you can. You've already been risking your lives for five hundred years. Leave what comes next to me." Hearing Zurvan's words, Lora sighed and spoke gently.

In the sky, having lost the purest Amrita water, the power of the Harvisptokhm could no longer continue suppressing the pollution. The Sign of Apaosha was showing signs of collapse, and the pollution descending from the hollow in the sky was about to surge down onto the earth.

Lora raised both hands, and all waters obeyed her command, forming steps that led upward. As her power revealed itself, the pollution on the verge of breaking through its restraints was forcefully stopped and suspended in midair.

Step by step, Lora walked up the spiraling staircase into the sky. The wind sang around her, and gods from distant lands cast their gazes here, watching the Mistress of Water's contribution to this continent.

As her power slowly poured into it, the Harvisptokhm shone with even more dazzling brilliance, completely sealing away the filth in the sky.

For Lora, who had reclaimed her divine body, doing this was not difficult. Standing high above, she turned her gaze toward distant Tunigi Hollow. Many traces of pollution still remained there, the dreadful corrosion left behind by the Abyss's power.

She stood where she was, raised her hand, and gazed toward Tunigi Hollow.

In an instant, the sky turned azure, as if the sea itself had been lifted into the heavens. The sky over the entire desert became an ocean.

Then Lora waved her hand downward, and vast oceanic light poured into Tunigi Hollow, washing away all of its pollution with a nearly endless purifying power.

Under the impact of that immense energy, the pollution there was swiftly cleansed.

This was the mighty power of a god. After more than five hundred years, in the end, it was still this noble and compassionate deity who saved the people of this place once more.

Unfortunately, the other deity who had once walked beside her was already gone.

The sea of flowers bloomed in full splendor. The sky became an ocean, the black abyss became green land, the Mistress of Amrita brought down sweet dew, and the light of water and sky purified the earth.

"Merciful Great Deity... What astonishing power."

Standing atop the peak of Tunigi Hollow, Aether watched it all.
