Gojo Satoru stood downstairs looking up. He had been waiting for quite a while, but since Kael still hadn't come out, he couldn't help but feel a bit worried.
It wasn't that he was worried about Kael's safety—who would have nothing better to do than worry about that?
Gojo Satoru was afraid that Kael would do something excessive to the Nanami sisters.
It wasn't that he didn't trust Kael's integrity; it was just that he never felt the guy possessed such a thing to begin with.
Kael could even make a move on Ieiri Shoko, the school doctor who was a generation older than them, and he did it with such relish.
That was his own best friend!
Even for Gojo Satoru, just thinking about this made him scratch his head in distress. Was he really going to have to attend the wedding of his student and his classmate one day?
To be honest, Kael was a bit reckless and unrestrained.
In Gojo Satoru's eyes, Ieiri Shoko was practically his brother.
"Forget it, I'd better go up and take a look."
Gojo Satoru muttered to himself and walked up the stairs. After all, they were his best friend's adopted daughters. According to seniority, the Nanami sisters should still call him uncle; he couldn't let Kael go too far.
The apartment door was long gone, and Gojo Satoru could see straight into the living room from the doorway. The scene that met his eyes was almost too much to watch.
Nanami and Mimiko were supporting each other, stepping firmly on Kael's back. Well, you really outdid yourself.
Gojo Satoru raised his hand to cover his eyes; he couldn't bear to watch.
"Higher, press harder… mmm, mmm." Kael let out a sound of comfortable moaning.
Hearing these shameful sounds, the two almost identical faces of Nanami and Mimiko flushed red simultaneously.
"Sorry, excuse me." Gojo Satoru gently knocked on the wall by the doorway.
The sudden noise startled the two sisters, and they immediately dove into the sofa. Thinking about how their shameful behavior had just been witnessed by someone else, they really wished they could go find Geto Suguru right then and there.
"Teacher Gojo, when will you ever have a bit of tact?" Kael grumpily put on his shirt; this wasn't the first time the other had interrupted his fun.
"Sorry, sorry, I was just worried about you." Gojo Satoru laughed it off, then immediately became serious and continued to ask, "So, did you get any useful information?"
"Of course, you have to trust my interrogation techniques for women." Kael had watched over a thousand realistic documentaries on interrogating "female Investigators," so he knew all too well how to break down a woman's psychological defenses. Two high school girls were a piece of cake.
"Your good buddy Geto Suguru has had his body occupied; in a sense, he really has come back to life."
Upon hearing Kael's words, Gojo Satoru lost control of his emotions for a moment. Killing Geto Suguru with his own hands was a hurdle he could never get over in his heart, and that guilt still tormented him to this day.
Sometimes he couldn't help but think that if he had had more time to accompany and console Geto Suguru back then, he wouldn't have turned to extremes. Now that he heard someone was desecrating his best friend, the feeling of anger was indescribable.
Just barely managing to control his surging emotions, Gojo Satoru heard Kael speak again. "I told you, we need to break traditional funeral customs. Don't do burials, do cremations. If you had responded to the call earlier, this wouldn't have happened."
"..." Gojo Satoru, being criticized, really had no room to refute. Although it sounded harsh, what Kael said was the truth.
"Gojo Satoru!!" After Nanami and Mimiko realized who the visitor was, the resentment and hatred nearly overflowed from the room. It was understandable; after all, the love-hate relationship between Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru was best known only to the two of them, and in the eyes of the sisters, Gojo Satoru was practically the murderer of their father.
"Yo, long time no see. You've both grown so big." Gojo Satoru waved his hand indifferently.
"Why haven't you died yet?!" Nanami cursed. If looks could kill, Gojo Satoru would have already been minced into meat and wrapped into dumplings.
"Alright, I've told you the information, now I should fulfill the Binding Vow." Kael said, stretching his wrists.
"Wait, what Binding Vow?" Gojo Satoru felt a surge of unease upon seeing this.
"You didn't think the information came for free, did you? I paid a terrible price for this." Kael said with a pained tone.
"What terrible price?" Gojo Satoru took a small step back, ready to run at any moment.
"Of course, it's beating you up on behalf of Nanami and Mimiko! My dear Teacher Gojo." As Kael spoke, he flashed forward, pulling himself right in front of Gojo Satoru.
"Boom!" A violent explosion rang out. A near-solid white fist wind soared into the sky, like a hurricane passing through.
"Don't run, Teacher Gojo. Although I'm heartbroken too, this is a Binding Vow, I have no choice. Just let me beat you up." Kael shouted to Gojo Satoru, who was a kilometer away. That old guy ran really fast.
"Asshole! What kind of Binding Vow can take effect on you?" Gojo Satoru shouted back. How could he not know that this kid was just looking for an excuse to beat him up? The exchange meeting had passed so long ago, why was he still holding onto it? Besides, hadn't he already taken a punch back then?
"I'm telling you, Teacher Gojo, don't you want to know more information?" Kael said, looking at Nanami and Mimiko. He wasn't joking. Beating up Gojo Satoru was indeed the condition the sisters had set for revealing the information. Of course, the sisters had been half-willing at the time. After all, their purpose in agreeing to work with Kenjaku was only to prevent him from continuing to desecrate Geto Suguru's corpse, not to truly collude with the other party. Who could have thought that Kael would actually have the ability to beat up Gojo Satoru? Now Nanami and Mimiko were overjoyed; the way they looked at Kael was almost melting, and their favorability was skyrocketing.
Come to think of it, it was a bit sad. Even though Nanami and Mimiko hated Gojo Satoru, they never really harbored the idea of killing him in their hearts. After all, in their view, this was as impossible as resurrecting Geto Suguru. The concept of the strongest in the Jujutsu World had long been deeply ingrained in the heart of every Jujutsu Sorcerer; no one would dare hope to kill Gojo Satoru anymore.
Seeing the looks in Nanami and Mimiko's eyes, Gojo Satoru instantly understood Kael's intention. This bastard, was he using him as a prop to gain favorability?! However, thinking of Geto Suguru, who had died with regrets, Gojo Satoru could only bite the bullet and return to Kael, gesturing warningly with his finger. "Let's get this straight, don't hit..." Before Gojo Satoru could finish speaking, Kael landed two punches, making Nanami and Mimiko's legs go weak. This was a scene they hadn't even dreamed of.
"I've hit you, now tell us what else you know." Gojo Satoru sniffed and touched his face. Well, he was bleeding. Nanami and Mimiko looked at each other; although reluctant, they could only tell everything they knew. No choice, the "Binding Vow" couldn't take effect on Kael, but it could certainly take effect on the sisters.
However, Nanami and Mimiko didn't actually know much. Kenjaku gathered these Jujutsu Sorcerers who had once followed Geto Suguru simply because he lacked manpower and funds, using them as cannon fodder; he wouldn't have told them too much. However, not all these Jujutsu Sorcerers were like Nanami and Mimiko; there were a few who were deeply involved in the plan for "Geto Suguru." If they used them as a breakthrough, there might be a chance to follow the trail and catch Kenjaku.
Thinking of his best friend's body being desecrated, Gojo Satoru wouldn't wait a moment longer. After saying a word, he left.
"How do you plan to deal with us?" Nanami asked softly. She wasn't alone; she still had Mimiko to worry about, so she naturally had to consider their future.
"Any interest in joining Jujutsu High? I can clear your criminal records, so you don't have to worry about being wanted by the higher-ups anymore."
"Absolutely not!" Nanami and Mimiko said in unison, their attitude resolute. That was the enemy's camp!
"I can beat up Teacher Gojo again." Seeing Kael's unhesitating manner, it was hard not to believe that he was quite enthusiastic about this matter as well.
"..." Nanami and Mimiko looked at each other for a while, and in the end, they couldn't resist such temptation and agreed. To tell the truth, they actually had a certain curiosity and longing for Jujutsu High, which their adoptive father had always thought about.
Half a month later, apart from Gojo Satoru's daily disappearance, everything was no different from usual. However, the addition of so many first-year students at the school added some rare liveliness to the once empty and cold campus.
However, according to the information recently collected by the abiko family and the Gojo family, under the surface calm of the Jujutsu World today, there were many undercurrents surging. The Jujutsu World Higher-ups could not sit by and watch Jujutsu High continue to grow.
Peace had long been broken by Kael, but the conflict had not completely erupted; both sides were suppressing it. The reason was simple. Jujutsu High was currently in an advantageous position, so naturally, they didn't need to rush; as long as these few generations of students graduated successfully, they would naturally be able to completely suppress the political power of the higher-ups.
And the Jujutsu World Higher-ups had no choice, because the prerequisite for dealing with Jujutsu High was to move the great mountain that was Gojo Satoru. They dared to make a move on Itadori Yuji because that incident itself was a violation of the rules by Gojo Satoru himself, and the "death penalty" verdict of the Jujutsu World Higher-ups couldn't be faulted at all.
"A man-made large-scale barrier appeared at Meiji Jingu?" Kael listened to Akari Nitta's report and stroked his chin. Such a big fanfare, were they afraid they wouldn't attract people to go there?
"Are the people from the higher-ups all dead? They let Jujutsu High handle everything, so why don't they just step down?" Kael asked back, very bluntly.
"Uh..." Akari Nitta pretended not to hear this, and continued to add, "The higher-ups have arranged for Miss Mei Mei to accompany you."
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go."
"..." Akari Nitta curled her lip inwardly. Sure enough, just as the higher-ups said, if they brought Miss Mei Mei, Kael certainly wouldn't refuse their mission arrangement.
Tonight was Christmas Eve, and Shibuya was crowded with a large number of young people. They treated tonight as a Cosplay gathering, and the scene could be said to be very lively. The assembly point was arranged at a subway entrance not far from the shrine.
Miss Mei Mei was already waiting here. Just looking at the smile on her face, one knew that tonight's appearance fee wouldn't be cheap. However, beside her, there was an eyesore. A primary school student who looked similar to Mei Mei, with light blue hair, wearing a shirt and suspenders.
"So you're the guy who harasses my sister every day?!" The brat had a rather nasty attitude when he saw Kael. As a hardcore sister-con, how could he tolerate any member of the opposite sex hovering around Mei Mei? Even a female one wouldn't do!
"Mei Mei, your outfit today is really sexy. Are there new private photos to unlock?" Kael didn't even look at Ui Ui, enthusiastically arriving in front of Mei Mei, so close that he could almost feel the other's heartbeat. It wasn't his problem, but Miss Mei Mei's assets were a bit too prominent and perky, which to a certain extent indirectly shortened the distance between the two.
"Private photos?!" Ui Ui's heart stopped when he heard this word. When did this happen?!
"Of course, but you know the unlocking conditions~." Mei Mei gave Kael an ambiguous look, and could feel that the favorability between the two had reached a certain critical point. This was all thanks to Gojo Satoru; without his continuous provision of friendship fees, it would have been quite difficult for Kael to conquer Mei Mei. This lady's obsession with money had reached a somewhat pathological level, even overriding most emotions. It was normal; which Jujutsu Sorcerer wasn't sick? Doctor Kael was best at treating psychological illnesses.
"Don't worry, I'll have Teacher Gojo wire the money over." Kael was already looking forward to the material for tonight. Miss Mei Mei's figure and photography skills were fully worthy of the high price she gave, it was just that the scale needed to be broken through. Although she loved money, conquering Mei Mei wasn't just about money; that was just the basic prerequisite. Otherwise, Kael would have sold the Gojo family long ago as a dowry for Miss Mei Mei. Why was it the Gojo family being sold? It was to give Teacher Gojo a sense of participation.
"Asshole! Stay away from my sister!!" Ui Ui tried his best to push Kael away, but he was already panting with exhaustion and couldn't shake the other at all.
"Stop making trouble, be a good boy, Ui Ui." Mei Mei looked down at Ui Ui, and the other immediately straightened up, showing a well-behaved appearance.
"Is this your younger brother? He looks quite cute." Kael seemed to have just noticed Ui Ui's existence at this time, reaching out to press and rub the other's head. Ui Ui tried to resist and struggle, but under Kael's large hand, it was futile.
"Don't bully him for no reason." Mei Mei gave Kael a charming look.
"Don't worry, I'll take good care of this little brother-in-law."
"I'm warning you, don't claim relationships randomly!!" What made Ui Ui very broken was that Mei Mei didn't say anything about it. Leaving aside the progress of the conquest between the two, just based on the status of Kael as the top donor, Mei Mei was willing to let the other take advantage of her.
