It happened again. And I'd sworn it never will but I let it happen again. When I'd decided I was going to leave for good, I told myself he didn't get to ever touch me again and yet here I was in his bed.
Is this how weak I am?
The bed was lighter when I opened my eyes, for a moment I was sure I was alone in the room. Until I heard movement, rapid shuffling. When I turned around, Troy was already off and out of bed, in his hand was his shorts as he slipped it on. I couldn't see his face and something inside me twisted.
I must have hurt him last night because now that it was morning, he didn't want to look at my face.
Until he did turn around wearing a worried expression that made my stomach sank.
Something was wrong with him, and I didn't think it was me. The way he moved was too urgent for a man upset with his wife.
