Chapter 84 - LEVEL OMEGA — THE GUARDIANS UNBOUND

The merged domain stabilizes into an impossible coliseum:

Steel pillars rise like frozen lightning.

Mirror-lakes ripple across fractured platforms.

Gravity bends, folding space in slow curves.

It's not a battleground.

It's a testament — a place shaped by three Grandmasters who have surpassed mortality.

Ahan's breath fogs.

Aryan cracks his fingers, eyes locked forward.

Abhi swallows once, hard.

From the swirling mist, they emerge.

Astrael, the Paradox

Tall, robed in spirals of fabric that twist in directions that shouldn't exist.

His face is soft yet unreadable — a mathematician of fates.

Behind him float a dozen after-images of himself, stepping a second ahead or behind.

Vayrus, the Still Blade

A warrior forged of silence.

Skin like polished obsidian.

A sword sheathed on his back — glowing faintly, though it's unclear whether it's from heat, aura, or compressed time.

Mantrax, the Echo of Self

Barefoot. Serene.

His eyes hold warmth that could melt mountains…

…and shadows that could devour them.

Together, they step forward.

And the domain kneels to their presence.

Astrael speaks first.

"You have conquered your reflections."

His after-images ripple.

"But reflections teach only identity. Not unity."

Vayrus's voice is steel grinding against steel.

"Strength without synchronization is meaningless."

Then Mantrax finishes gently.

"To claim what lies ahead…

you must prove you can stand as one."

The three guardians raise their hands — and the battlefield erupts.

BOOM—!!!

A vortex of paradox light tears through the arena.

Ahan barely rolls aside as platforms bend like fabric under its force.

Aryan leaps upward, aiming to reach higher ground—

—but Vayrus is suddenly there.

Not teleportation.

Not speed.

Just pure, absolute efficiency.

He doesn't punch. He doesn't kick.

He shifts his weight — and Aryan is sent crashing through a mirror-lake.

Abhi tries to form a defensive sphere—

—but Mantrax's voice softly cuts through the arena:

"Stop protecting yourself."

A single tap to Abhi's chest sends his aura scattering like dust.

The trio regroup, panting.

Ahan clenches his fist.

"These guys… aren't like the alternates."

"That wasn't even a warm-up," Aryan spits, wiping blood from his lip.

Abhi nods weakly.

"We're dead."

Ahan grabs their shoulders.

"No.

We adapt."

His eyes sharpen.

"Together."

They charge as one—

Ahan attacks Astrael head-on.

Aryan aims for Vayrus's flank.

Abhi prepares a layered support spell to stabilize reality.

It looks coordinated.

It fails instantly.

Astrael flicks his finger — Ahan's trajectory distort into a spiral.

Vayrus steps into Aryan's arc and redirects his entire momentum into the ground.

Mantrax simply whispers a counterphrase, and Abhi's spell collapses inward.

In three seconds, the boys are back on the floor.

Astrael: "You think strategy is addition."

Vayrus: "Unity is multiplication."

Mantrax: "Try again."

 Ahan adjusts.

Aryan adjusts faster.

Abhi adjusts deepest.

This time:

Abhi stabilizes a narrow zone of space for Ahan's mobility

Aryan synchronizes his footwork with Ahan's advances

Ahan uses Aryan's movement as feints

Their auras overlap, instead of clashing

And for the first time—

Vayrus's eyes widened by a fraction of a millimetre.

They strike together.

Astrael blocks.

Vayrus absorbs.

Mantrax counters.

But they recoil.

Just a little.

Ahan grins.

"We made them move."

Aryan smirks.

"Hell yeah we did."

Abhi exhales, trembling.

"I… I think we can do this."

The guardians share a silent glance.

Mantrax:

"Finally."

The ground splits open.

Astrael raises both hands.

"BEGIN—"

Vayrus draws his blade with a sound like a planet cracking.

"LEVEL—"

Mantrax closes his eyes.

"OMEGA."

The arena transforms:

Gravity fractures into layers.

Time stutters.

Auras invert and pulse.

Ahan feels the pressure first — crushing yet electrifying.

Aryan's muscles burn like they're forging themselves.

Abhi's heart pounds with a clarity he's never felt.

Astrael's after-images merge into one.

Vayrus's blade hums at a frequency that threatens to collapse the domain.

Mantrax's presence expands until it feels like he's everywhere at once.

Astrael smiles faintly.

"Now show us your truth."

The trio stand.

Together.

Ahan: "Ready."

Aryan: "Always."

Abhi: "…Let's go."

They charge—

And the true battle begins.
