The first step on that path felt different.
Not like walking on ordinary ground.
Nor like entering another dimension.
More… smooth.
As if they were stepping on something not entirely real, yet still solid enough to support their presence.
Aurelia was at the front.
The faint light she created stretched like a narrow path through the expanse of dull red.

The vortex still spun.
But no longer wild.
Now it followed the direction she had set.
Ragnar let out a slow breath.
"I don't like roads that can disappear at any moment."
Kael smiled slightly.
"If we fall, at least we know who to blame."
Ragnar scoffed.
"If we fall, I'm taking all of you with me."
Orion remained silent.
His gaze was fixed on the path.
"This isn't just a road."
He said softly.
"It's a response."
Aurelia didn't turn around.
But she understood.
"Yes."
She replied.
"This path… is alive."
Silence.
But not surprising.
After everything they had faced, nothing felt impossible anymore.
