Chapter 135 - Chapter 135: The Larvesta Causes Trouble

Yesterday, Lionel played wildly with his Pokémon until evening.

Metang and Milotic were showing signs of fatigue, while Tyrantrum and Larvesta remained energetic, bouncing around Lionel incessantly.

It took a bit of coaxing to finally get these two "little motors" back into their Poké Balls.

This morning, Lionel woke up feeling incredibly sore from the jolting on Tyrantrum's back.

At the time, he was just having fun, but now the aches had rushed back.

So today, after venturing deep into the forest, Lionel refused to let the two "little devils" out.

If they got carried away and destroyed the entire forest, it would be a disaster.

Upon reaching the edge of Steel Canyon, the trees had almost completely disappeared, leaving only exposed rocks.

The area was empty. He then took out the Poké Balls and released the two, letting them run wild.

As soon as they landed, Larvesta jumped excitedly while Tyrantrum shook its head vigorously, letting out a loud growl as if declaring freedom.

"Go play, but don't stray too far. Be careful," Lionel said with an indulgent smile.

No sooner had he finished speaking than Tyrantrum growled at Larvesta, extending an invitation.

Larvesta immediately spat out silk, nimbly wrapping it around Tyrantrum's body to experience the thrill of being pulled at high speed.

Tyrantrum took off running across the open canyon.

The speed increased rapidly, creating a gust of wind that lifted Larvesta into the air, making it let out an excited squeak.

After running around like crazy, Tyrantrum stopped in front of a rock about half a person's height.

It turned back and nodded at Larvesta, looking just like a child showing off a new toy.

Then Tyrantrum took a deep breath, and its forehead gleamed with a cold, metallic sheen—the Iron Head move.

Immediately, it accelerated sharply, charging fiercely towards the rock!

Bang!

A dull thud echoed as the hard rock shattered, sending debris flying. Larvesta, watching with gleaming eyes, let out a series of cheering cries.

The tentacles around its head spewed out small clusters of flame, adding to Tyrantrum's excitement.

Tyrantrum grew increasingly smug, shaking its head and then repeatedly ramming into several more rocks.

Each time its "iron head" struck, it shattered the target, making Larvesta's blood boil.

In its excitement, Tyrantrum even used its tail to pick up a piece of rock and flicked it gently towards Metang.

Its eyes held a clear taunt, as if saying, "Come and play with me!"

Metang hovered in mid-air, its red eyes flickering. It instinctively glanced at Lionel, who smiled and waved his hand.

"Don't worry, Milotic is ready. Go play with them."

As soon as he finished speaking, Metang's red eyes lit up with joy.

A faint halo appeared around it—the Iron Defense move. The next second, Metang shot out like a cannonball toward its companions.

Tyrantrum let out an excited growl, ignoring the rocks to charge at Metang with another Iron Head.

Metang, not to be outdone, met the charge head-on.

In an instant, the canyon became lively. Tyrantrum used its Iron Head and Iron Tail skills to collide with Metang, smashing the surrounding rocks to pieces.

Larvesta used its silk-spitting skill to anchor itself steadily on Tyrantrum's back.

Like a warrior riding a dragon, it commanded Tyrantrum to adjust its attack direction while occasionally breathing small clusters of flame at Metang in an "ambush."

Metang wasn't annoyed, using Iron Head and Iron Defense in turn.

It also used psychic powers to manipulate small rock fragments, throwing them at Larvesta, who deftly breathed fire to send the rocks flying.

The three little creatures played back and forth, having a great time.

Just then, a flash of red light appeared beside Lionel, and Milotic quietly appeared.

It glanced at its three playful companions, then at Lionel, and the two exchanged a silent smile.

As the three continued their antics deeper into the canyon, not a single tree remained.

In their place were huge rocks of various shapes with occasional exposed metallic ore. From the crevices, many small Magnemite peeked out.

They had been leisurely absorbing energy, but seeing the massive Tyrantrum, they scurried into the shadows to observe.

While Tyrantrum and Metang were locked in their battle, Larvesta went wild.

Having noticed a sharp metallic protrusion peeking out from between the rocks, it had a sudden inspiration to imitate Tyrantrum's power.

It unleashed a powerful Fire Blast at the metal protrusion.

The red flames transformed into a giant "大" character, carrying astonishing heat as they slammed into the target!

Boom!

A deafening roar resounded, far more intense than the sound of the rocks crashing earlier.

Before Lionel could react, a rumble echoed from ahead, shaking the ground.

Immediately afterward, a crack appeared in the canyon floor, and a gigantic steel serpentine figure burst forth from the earth!

First, its massive head emerged, followed by its long body. It was a Steelix nearly ten meters long!
