Chapter 151 - Chapter 152 Meteor Falls (Part Two)

But it couldn't swim, so it could only circle the lake a few times, growling loudly, as if expressing its dissatisfaction.

Soon, Larvesta, Metang, and Milotic surfaced from the water.

Larvesta immediately hopped to Tyrantrum's side, excitedly telling it about the wonders underwater.

Tyrantrum listened, its eyes shining. It immediately ran to Milotic and gently nuzzled its body with its head.

It made a soft, pleading sound, clearly wanting to use the bubble to explore the bottom like Larvesta.

Milotic hesitated, looking at Tyrantrum's massive body, unsure how to carry it into the water.

But it finally gave in to the Tyrantrum's persistent pleading and came up with a plan.

Milotic flicked its tail fin at Metang, who immediately understood, flew to the lakeside, and laboriously used its telekinesis to support the Tyrantrum's body.

Milotic then exhaled a water bubble several times larger than before, enveloping the massive dragon entirely within it.

With Metang's telekinesis assisting, the Tyrantrum was carefully lowered to the lakebed.

Its massive body appeared somewhat clumsy inside the bubble.

Yet, its excitement was undeniable, its limbs moving somewhat uncoordinatedly.

It curiously observed the schools of fish darting by and the scenery at the bottom of the lake, occasionally letting out happy growls, clearly deeply captivated by this underwater world.

Lionel sat by the tent, quietly watching everything at the lake.

After emerging from the lake, the Larvesta nestled close to him, obediently snuggling against him, keeping him company as they waited for the food to cook.

A short while later, Milotic and Metang emerged from the water with a still-wanting Tyrantrum.

Larvesta immediately sidled up to the Tyrantrum, chattering away as if discussing whose view was more unusual.

Then, Larvesta pestered Milotic, wanting to go back down again.

The Tyrantrum, hearing this, immediately perked up and followed suit, begging Milotic to go along.

Milotic and Metang exchanged a glance, their faces showing a hint of helplessness.

But seeing the expectant eyes of Larvesta and Tyrantrum, they agreed to their request.

The setting sun gradually painted the lake a golden-red hue. Milotic and Metang, with the two mischievous creatures having had their fill of play, returned to the shore.

Lionel served the heated food to everyone, and the Pokémon sat around him, enjoying their dinner with gusto.

The distant waterfall echoed with the faint sound of rushing water, and beside him, the sounds of elves chewing their food filled the air. Looking up, the stars gradually brightened in the sky… a sense of utter tranquility washed over him.

The next morning.

The mist over the lake had dissipated. Milotic stretched out in the lake, while the giant dragon lay on the shore, basking in the warmth of the sun.

The Larvesta and the Metang huddled together, whispering something, occasionally letting out a soft laugh.

After a simple breakfast, with the Metang's help,

Lionel quickly packed his tent and luggage.

"Time to go."

Lionel dusted off his hands and looked up towards the direction of the Meteor Falls mountains, their outlines becoming increasingly clear in the morning light.

He glanced at the sky; the sun had just risen over the mountain, perfect time to travel.

He waved to the Tyrantrum:

"The rest of the journey will be in your hands."

The Tyrantrum immediately understood, letting out a low growl as its massive body swiftly lowered.

Larvesta, already on the back of the Tyrantrum, cleverly released a few strands of silk, gently pulling Lionel onto the Tyrantrum's back.

Then, it obediently curled up in its trainer's arms.

Lionel adjusted his posture, gently grasping the mane on the Tyrantrum's neck:

"Alright, let's go!"

The Tyrantrum responded, its massive body darting forward like an arrow.

Its movements seemed clumsy, but its running was remarkably steady, its hind legs stomping the ground with a dull, rhythmic sound.

The Metang hovered beside them, maintaining the same speed. Red eyes warily scanned the surroundings.

Milotic was recalled to its Poké Ball and resting inside.

Compared to walking, riding a Pokémon was more than twice as fast.

The trees and grass along the roadside rushed past, stretching into green lines. What would normally take half a day was nearly completed in less than two hours.

As they drew closer, the air grew thicker with moisture, carrying the cool scent of a waterfall.

A distant rumbling sound could be faintly heard, initially like muffled thunder, gradually becoming deafening.

It sounded like a thousand horses galloping, even the ground beneath their feet trembled slightly.

"Almost there!" Lionel patted the Pokémon's body, slowing it down.

The scene before him instantly became magnificent:

A continuous mountain range was covered by a thick green carpet, the lush trees were even taller and more imposing than any he had seen along the way.

The branches and leaves intertwined, blocking out the sun, and the trunks were covered with thick moss, damp to the touch.

But the most striking feature was undoubtedly the enormous waterfall hanging between the mountains.

The water cascaded down the cliff face halfway up the mountain, like a giant white ribbon, crashing against the rocks below, splashing up a spray of water that filled the air.

Lionel told Tyrantrum to slow its pace and approach the waterfall cautiously.

Looking up, he saw a huge crater in the mountain above the waterfall, from which water gushed forth like a silver river falling from the sky. The power was overwhelming.

This is the middle section of Meteor Falls, one of the most spectacular sights in the entire mountain range.

"Come out, Milotic."

Lionel released Milotic, letting it admire the magnificent view as well.

As soon as Milotic emerged, it was captivated by the enormous waterfall before it, happily swimming to the lakeside and splashing water with its tail fin, as if expressing its excitement.

Metang also hovered in the middle of the lake, its red eyes reflecting the waterfall's image, appearing exceptionally bright.

"Milotic, show us the waterfall up close."

Lionel called to Milotic.

The Larvesta stood beside Lionel, jumping and chirping excitedly, flames leaping high on its antennae. Tyrantrum nodded vigorously, letting out an expectant growl.

Milotic understood and gently exhaled water, forming a large, transparent bubble barrier around Linmer, Tyrantrum, and the Larvesta, perfectly isolating them from the external water flow.

Metang also joined in, using its psychic powers to support the barrier and control it to slowly approach the waterfall.

The closer they got to the waterfall, the louder the roar and the denser the mist, which struck the bubble barrier and condensed into tiny droplets that rolled down.

Through the barrier, the breathtaking sight of water cascading down the cliff face could be clearly seen:

The water droplets cracked upon impact with the rocks, forming countless tiny water jets, which were then propelled forward by the subsequent flow, merging into the lake below.

Tyrantrum and Larvesta growled softly at Milotic, wanting to enter the water as they had the day before.

Milotic nodded in agreement, and the bubble barrier, with the combined efforts of Milotic and Metang, slowly sank to the bottom of the lake.
