Louisa noticed that step backward and spoke calmly. "Sir, if you do not hurry, our target may attempt to flee."
Wade grinned even wider at that comment. "You think he can outpace me?"
"Not at this range. No, sir," Louisa replied without hesitation.
However, Joe gave it no further thought. He raised his hand, aiming Katarina in its compact mode at a nearby rooftop ledge, ready to fire another grappling line when his eyes suddenly widened.
Blood burst from his mouth.
He turned his head downward in disbelief to see that Wade had already blitzed forward at such blinding speed that Joe hadn't even registered the movement.
And now there was a gaping hole punched clean through his chest.
Wade stood directly in front of him with his fist still buried inside Joe's torso. His eyes glowed red now, and fangs had extended from his mouth as he stared directly into Joe's face.
"I take the fullest satisfaction doing this," Wade said coldly.
