At the manor, the next morning…
Ethan, dressed in a white shirt and black trousers was standing just outside the main entrance door leading into the manor itself.
Before him were nine figures arranged in a loose formation. These were his recently acquired summons, along with Finn.
Two others, Nina and Albedo, were at his side; although Albedo had been ordered to stay absolutely quiet. The frown on her face made it clear just how much she hated that particular command.
Ethan addressed the group. "Those assigned to the house, take your positions."
Three summons, all Knight-class, vanished in blurs of motion as they leaped away toward different assigned positions.
The first appeared atop the manor's roof a moment later. She had long brown hair tied in a ponytail and wore brown leather armor over a white shirt. In the next instant, her bow was drawn, an arrow already nocked and ready.
