Today, I got my registration done
It felt like a small step, but also an important one for me.
I also met a new friend today. His name is Daniel.
He seems nice, but I noticed something about him. He sometimes acts a bit jealous, especially when I talk or get attention from others. I don't really understand it yet, but I decided not to think too much about it. After all, first impressions can be deceiving.
I came to school for business—not to get carried away by distractions.
Later in class, things changed.
Our class teacher, Miss Michelle, walked in looking very prepared, like she already had everything planned. She was holding small pieces of paper in her hand.
At first, I was curious.
Then she explained everything.
She said she was going to arrange us in pairs, and the names on the papers would become our partners.
The whole class reacted immediately. It felt like no one was in control anymore, except her.
One by one, we picked our papers.
I picked mine and went to sit beside Chioma.
But after sitting down, I noticed something.
I couldn't see the board clearly from that side. I tried adjusting my seat, but it didn't help.
So I quietly raised my hand.
"Miss, I can't see clearly from here," I said.
Before she even answered me, she made an announcement.
"Ohhh sorry, before your request, we have a new transfer student. Her name is Precious Kaffy."
The class reacted a little, then she continued quickly.
"Alright, back to your issue," she said.
I explained again that I really couldn't see well.
That was when she decided to change my seat.
And just like that,I ended up sitting beside him.
I didn't even expect it.
I slowly sat down, trying to act normal, but inside me, I felt something shift.
It was just a seat change.
I settled down quietly.
