No mistakes, no dull moments.
The operations were so smooth and fluid that Fries even wanted to call it a work of art.
It was a pleasure to watch, soothing to both mind and body.
Pure enjoyment!
If one were to look from a god's eye view, they would actually discover a hidden detail.
A god-tier play that everyone had overlooked and no one knew about.
It concerned the mechanics of the block world, specifically regarding the Nether dimension.
Ever since the player who chose to hide in the Nether died, there were essentially no other players in that dimension.
Without players, new zombies wouldn't spawn.
Logically, the current number of zombies should have been at its limit; no more should have appeared.
Yet, a steady stream of zombies continued to emerge, being shoved into the Alliance's Nether portal.
Their source was actually the zombies from Galen Yu's Sky Island.
They were being sent through the portal to increase the headcount.
Furthermore, there was a small detail that none of the players knew: seven steps in the Overworld equals one step in the Nether.
In the Nether, one could reach their destination in a much faster, more time-saving, and efficient manner.
The players hadn't utilized this, but the zombies were.
The Overworld distance between the Sky Island and the Alliance was vast, but with the sevenfold shortcut in the Nether, it became very close.
In other words, the zombies appearing in the Alliance's Nether portal were all sent from Galen Yu's side.
As one bullet chat comment put it, he didn't even need to make a direct move.
With just a small trick, he could leave the Alliance in a frantic mess, unable to deal with both ends at once...
"It seems Horns has fulfilled his mission."
Unaware of the hidden cause, Soren Park breathed a sigh of relief.
The Nether portal was no longer producing new zombies; they just needed to deal with the ones currently present.
Fortunately, it hadn't caused any further consequences. Otherwise, knowing Mark's personality...
Before the Alliance fell, he would likely have been singled out and dealt with by Mark.
"But, if we handle it like this, will it...?"
It happened so suddenly that many details hadn't been considered, such as public opinion.
If it brought a negative impact to their home country, the consequences would be severe.
"Soren, you're overthinking it. Since Horns is already dead, he's in no position to answer for the zombie invasion."
As if imagining the ruins, Mark didn't care in the slightest.
The man is dead; who's left to protest against us?
Solve the problem at the root!
"That makes sense. Mark, your thinking truly has depth."
Taking the chance to flatter him, Soren Park relaxed.
With that reasoning, there shouldn't be much of an impact on him later.
At most, his influence might decrease slightly, but staying alive was the priority now; that little bit of impact didn't matter.
It was much as Soren Park thought. Although Mark was initially furious, he knew accidents happened.
Once he calmed down, he didn't intend to place much blame.
Besides, he had just received a sign from the Blonde Elder.
[Horns did a good job on this. The Nether situation isn't urgent; there are still many redstone devices in Galen Yu's chunk.]
[Since gunpowder can be used to make bullets, you can try to build a Creeper Farm. Soren Park has seen that tall tower before.]
There were quite a few words, but the gist was simple.
The Blonde Elder was reassuring him not to panic over the Nether portal incident. The Alliance was still doing well, and the matter with Horns would naturally resolve itself.
Now that the Nether portal was gone, Soren Park still had other value—redstone devices and Creeper Farms were both excellent prospects.
"Redstone? Creeper Farm?"
Mulling over these two terms, Mark became thoughtful.
To him, these terms were somewhat novel.
In all his time in the block world, he really didn't know what Redstone was used for.
"It can't be used for gear, but it's actually for building devices?"
No wonder they hadn't used it before; they were using it in the wrong direction!
To think Galen Yu had discovered its use... Mark couldn't help but feel envious.
He could only comfort himself.
"Perhaps it's because of these redstone devices that Galen Yu's chunk score is so high. Not bad!"
"It must be the redstone devices, as well as the Creeper Farm."
As the name suggested, it was a farm used for raising Creepers.
Though it sounded equally appalling—Creepers were monsters; how could they be farmed?
Mark wasn't entirely unable to understand.
Back when the resource zone first opened, after he had overcome countless difficulties to defeat the Iron Golem and entered Galen Yu's small room, hadn't there been a Witch inside?
At that time, he knew Galen Yu liked to keep all sorts of mess as pets. If he kept a Witch, keeping a Creeper was perfectly normal.
If he had known about this before, he would have laughed his head off, mocking Galen Yu for being ignorant and arrogant.
Keeping a Creeper in your chunk was no different from keeping a time bomb; you never knew when it would go off.
But now, gunpowder was a vital material for manufacturing ammunition, and the only ways to get it were from chests or killing Creepers.
There was no mockery now, only shock and fear in his heart.
"Galen Yu can even farm Creepers. It's truly... terrifying!"
Mark had to admit, if it were him...
He wouldn't have the slightest clue where to start, nor would he even think of such a reality-defying idea!
Fortunately, they still had a powerful talent like Soren Park.
"Soren, do you know anything about the Creeper Farm?"
With a certain location reduced to ruins, the matter of Horns was put behind them as Mark briefly described the situation.
The words 'Creeper Farm' weren't very familiar to Soren Park, but when he heard it was a tall tower...
Soren Park remembered instantly.
The words 'Creeper Farm' weren't very familiar to Soren Park, but when he heard it was a tall tower...
Soren Park remembered instantly.
"Yes, Oakmoor and I were on that high tower back then. Now that you mention it..."
"I witnessed Galen Yu building it with my own eyes!"
He really had seen it!
Not just the finished product—he had witnessed the entire construction process!
Mark felt a surge of joy as the gloom from the Nether failure was swept away.
What was the point of building the Nether portal? To defend against zombies!
A Nether portal could defend against zombies, and bullets and firearms could do the same.
If they could really make a Creeper Farm, it would mean infinite ammo. Why would they still fear zombies?
"Are we going to build that thing next?"
Hearing Mark say this, Soren Park's eyes lit up.
Being trapped at the top, he hadn't really paid attention to the tower's function. Now, with the hint...
To think that a building which seemed so ordinary and a waste of time and materials actually had such a massive function!
"Don't worry, leave it to me. I've already mastered everything about the mob farm!"
Thumping his chest, Soren Park was brimming with absolute confidence.
He had seen Galen Yu build it with his own eyes. Even if he couldn't figure out the principles...
Worst case scenario, couldn't he just replicate it one-to-one?
He had been able to deduce and create a complete version of the Anvil based solely on its appearance. With that kind of reasoning and logic...
Replicating a Creeper Farm would be a piece of cake, wouldn't it?
"Based on the intel from Galen Yu and the Wandering Mage, there's also progress on the new SlashBlade."
"Once I finish the Creeper Farm, we'll have completely infinite ammunition!"
With a smile on his face, a phrase surfaced in his heart.
We are on the rise!
Outside the screen, the audience was all smiles.
"That's the expression! That's the look!"
"Soren, did you forget? You were just as confident when you built the Nether portal!"
"Thumping your chest and giving your word, only for the results to speak for themselves..."
"Good lord, Mark and Soren are quite the pair—one's a dreamer and the other's a doer!"
"Soren is a beast for deducing so many wild things, and Mark is a beast for actually trying them!"
"With the Nether portal as an example, it's hard to imagine what kind of accident will happen this time!"
