Viola was brought back to the High Tower skyscraper in Sebastian's car, where he had insisted she ride with him, even though the drive had been silent and fraught with tension. She would have actually preferred to have the driver drop her off, but there was no need to create a fuss when they were, after all, heading to the same destination.
She had felt the tension even more because of what he had done before they left his quarters, where he had whispered into her ear and she had felt his warm breath tickling her. Thank goodness he hadn't forced her to sit in the front with him; she had sat in the back while he drove and she had enjoyed the peaceful scenery of the lane back to the city, which calmed her a lot more.
