Sebastian brought himself back to the most important matter, pushing Alex to the back of his mind for now.
Faking his death to fish out his enemy had been a strategy that the elders and the members of Silver knew nothing about, and though that plan had failed terribly as the culprit still hadn't shown himself, Sebastian still had a great deal of fixing to do in his pack.
At this point, Viola's life and health mattered more to him than catching whoever was behind it all, though he was beginning to form a suspicion about who that person was. He just needed evidence first before he moved.
Sebastian attempted to reach his twin through their mind link, searching for any flicker of consciousness on the other end, but the link was blocked. It was either that Alex hadn't yet woken from the forced slumber Sebastian had put him through, or he had deliberately locked the mind link to shut him out entirely.
