Sebastian looked down at her concerned blue eyes, framed with sparky lashes, blinking up at him as she said,
"What did the elders decide about Javier's claim to punish me? If you can't stop it, it's fine, you shouldn't stress about it. I can handle the punishment." Viola said, looking up at him, able to see the stress sitting plainly in his eyes.
Sebastian's lips curled up at one side as he raised his hand and tucked her frizzy morning hair behind her ear. "You are always ready to take punishment, amor. You did the same thing when Javier once wanted to punish you for interfering. Have you forgotten what I told you then?" He hummed, bringing his hand to her cheek and grazing it gently.
Viola hadn't forgotten. He had told her he would never allow anyone to hurt her, but if this was causing him unnecessary trouble, she truly wouldn't have minded taking whatever came. She leaned her face into his large, warm palm.
"Then how did the meeting go?" She asked. "Is it something bad?"
