She wouldn't even call what she'd had "sleep," since she'd spent most of the night wide-eyed, running through different scenarios of how she might make things right with Sebastian, of putting all of this behind them, especially with today being the full moon he'd spoken of, the day his brother might not survive.
Had she let him go through with sacrificing the mermaid, today would have been the day she carried his mark instead, the day their bond would have been sealed forever, the day she'd have been preparing for the ceremony rather than this.
