With Jane Foster taking over the pressure from the God of Thunder, Jessica Jones finally had a free hand.
Three moves. Clean and brutal.
Working together with Wanda, they wiped the remaining Iron Legion drones out of the sky like flies.
Jessica looked up at the gold-and-red figure still unloading on Angelica midair.
"Hey! You tin can!"
She shouted, knees bending as she kicked off the ground.
"Get your ass down here!"
She shot upward like a human cannonball and grabbed Tony Stark by the ankle.
"What—?!"
Tony felt a sudden deadweight yank as his thrusters lost balance instantly.
"Down you go!"
Jessica twisted her waist and executed a savage over-the-shoulder throw.
BOOM—!
Mark 43 slammed into the street like a swatted insect, carving a man-shaped crater into the asphalt.
Before Tony could even try to stand—
A haze of red mist enveloped him.
Wanda walked forward, fingers weaving sigils as scarlet chaos energy spread like industrial adhesive, locking every joint in the armor.
"Hydraulics offline. Power output severed."
Tony was completely immobilized.
"Stay still," Wanda said coldly.
Jessica stepped up, gripping the helmet with both hands as her vibranium bracer snapped outward, wedging into the seam.
"Warning! External pressure overload! Cervical armor compromised!"
FRIDAY's alerts rang uselessly in Tony's ears.
Jessica roared and pulled.
Creee—CRACK!!
The helmet was torn off by sheer brute force.
Tony Stark's panicked face was exposed to the night air.
"Hey— that's incredibly rude—"
"Night-night."
Jessica didn't even let him finish.
A clean chop to the back of the neck.
"Ugh—"
Tony's eyes rolled back, and he collapsed unconscious.
-----
Elsewhere—
Clint Barton was still stubbornly fighting back.
Crouched behind a toppled bus, his bowstring sang again and again.
But this time, every arrow failed.
"Watch this!"
Robbie Baldwin bounced across the battlefield using his kinetic gear.
Each time Barton loosed an arrow, Robbie ricocheted in—blocking it with his body or an energy shield.
Every shot nullified.
"Damn it! What are you—some kind of flea?!" Barton snarled.
"I'm Speedball, man!"
Robbie shouted proudly.
"That'll do."
Above them, Angelica seized the moment.
Both hands thrust forward.
Twin fire dragons roared out, sealing off Barton's escape routes and forcing him from cover.
The instant he landed—
Scarlet energy wrapped around his body.
Frozen mid-stride, only his eyes could still move.
Then Jessica walked up.
Another clean hand strike.
Barton dropped.
…..
Only one remained.
Thor.
Even without Mjolnir, his physical strength was still monstrous.
Unfortunately for him—
Against Jane Foster, wielding the hammer, he had little advantage beyond taking hits.
BANG!
Jane swung.
Thunder detonated as Thor was launched backward, smashing into a fire hydrant.
Water erupted skyward.
"Cough—!"
Thor dragged himself up from the flooding street, soaked, hair plastered to his face.
Not a shred of godly dignity remained.
"This… this is impossible…"
He stared up at the silver-armored figure hovering above him.
That blow hadn't just rattled his body.
It had rattled his mind.
Thor shook his head.
And suddenly—
Clarity returned.
"Jane…?"
He remembered everything.
Avengers Tower.
Lorelei.
Controlled allies.
The things he'd said to Jane.
The words.
"Oh… Odin above…"
"…What have I done?"
His face drained of color as he punched the ground in anguish.
Then he looked up and shouted—
"Jane!! My love!! I'm awake now!!"
"I swear— that wasn't me! It was sorcery! My heart has always been yours!!"
He staggered to his feet, arms open, trying to approach her.
"Jane! We won! Give me the hammer and let's—"
He stopped.
Something was wrong.
Jane didn't move.
Her gaze behind the helmet was still cold.
And at some point—
He'd been surrounded.
Jessica Jones cracked her knuckles.
Angelica's fireball flickered dangerously.
Robbie raised both hands, energy charging.
Wanda's scarlet glow coiled like venom.
"That's not very on-brand for you, Thor," Jessica sneered.
"Pretty fierce when you were hitting women earlier. Funny how you 'wake up' the moment you're losing."
"Trying to steal your brother Loki's 'God of Tricks' title?"
"No! I'm serious!" Thor panicked.
"I swear on Asgard— I—"
"Prove it," Jane said coolly.
"H… how?"
"Stand still," she raised Mjolnir. "Let us hit you."
"If you don't fight back, then you're truly awake."
"What?!" Thor's eyes bulged. "What kind of logic is that?!"
"Earth logic," Jessica snapped.
"Ladies! Let's go— tooth for tooth, eye for eye!"
BOOM BOOM BOOM—!
A rainbow of attacks swallowed Thor whole.
"Wait— not the face! Jane! Control your friends! AHH—!"
------
Meanwhile—
Avengers Tower.
A barely perceptible distortion clung to the wall.
Silas Lawton.
Invisible Man.
His advanced stealth vest had been ruined earlier during evasive maneuvers.
To stay hidden now, he'd reverted to nature's original setting.
Which, for Silas, was nothing new.
The real problem was—
The metal muzzle Thor had brought.
The one that sealed Lorelei's voice.
It was physical.
It couldn't turn invisible.
If he carried it, it would look like a floating metal orb—instant exposure.
No pockets.
Can't hold it.
"…This is bad," Silas muttered.
"If I want to stay hidden, I have to store it inside my body…"
Mouth? No—Thor had warned him. It would activate the moment it touched lips.
Silas looked down at himself.
His expression changed several times.
As a man, his available "internal storage" options were… extremely limited.
"No…"
He swallowed hard.
"Absolutely not."
