Chapter 58 - Chapter 58: Berserk Saiyans, Great Apes Everywhere!

As the battle between Qin Yan and the Final Form Frieza began, both the Saiyans and Frieza's subordinates ground their fighting to a halt. They raised their heads, eyes fixed on the sky, witnessing a duel that would decide the fate of their respective races.

Nervousness, excitement, and dread flickered across every face; everyone knew the winner of this clash would dictate the future of the war.

Frieza had been driven deep into the earth, and for a long while, there was no sign of him.

Qin Yan floated silently above a pitch-black crater. His gaze was fixed on the bottomless pit below. He could still sense Frieza's faint, ragged breathing. Frieza's vitality was incredibly stubborn; unless he was ground into literal ash, he would not truly die.

The onlookers were stunned.

A collective sound of gulping echoed across the battlefield as people swallowed hard in disbelief.

"Lord Frieza!"

"Lord Frieza...!"

In the distance, Frieza's subordinates watched in horror. Seeing Qin Yan standing tall in the sky while their unrivaled king remained buried in the dirt sent them into a panic.

"How... how is this possible? Lord Frieza!"

"It can't be! How could Lord Frieza be defeated?"

Watching Frieza fall from the sky, Zarbon stood paralyzed. His handsome face turned deathly pale, and his body trembled uncontrollably. He found it impossible to accept that the once invincible, high-and-mighty emperor of the universe had actually lost.

"Saiyans! Frieza has been struck down! Charge! Kill his subordinates!"

Bardock was the first to snap back to reality. Seeing Qin Yan actually overcome Frieza filled him with an explosive excitement. Qin Yan was truly powerful terrifyingly so. Bardock let out a furious roar to the warriors around him.

"Go! Slaughter these scumbags!"

Tora and his team took the lead, charging directly into the enemy ranks. Their hearts were racing with exhilaration.

"Frieza is down!"

"Kill them! Wipe out every last one of these bastards!"

"Exterminate Frieza's lapdogs!"

The rest of the Saiyans finally reacted. Their expressions were filled with righteous fury. The emperor who had loomed over their heads like an immovable mountain for years had been toppled.

In that instant, all their fear, resentment, and the weight of long-term oppression evaporated, replaced by the battle cries of the universe's strongest warrior race and a deep, burning hatred.

They charged forward with a fire in their hearts, determined to pay back every ounce of suffering they had endured.

"You're amazing, Brother Qin Yan!"

High atop a building's terrace, little Liya cheered as she watched Frieza fall. She threw little punches into the air, her eyes sparkling with pure adoration.

"So strong! He's so incredible! Did Qin Yan really beat Frieza?"

Qin Yan's parents were equally stunned, their faces masks of disbelief.

"Could he be... the legendary Super Saiyan?"

The doubt crept into everyone's minds. They felt that Qin Yan must be the Super Saiyan of legend. Otherwise, it was impossible to explain such power it far exceeded the limits of any normal Saiyan. Only the Super Saiyan, who appeared once every thousand years, was supposed to be this formidable.

"Hehe! Nope! Brother Qin Yan isn't a Super Saiyan yet!"

Liya spoke up with a clever glint in her eyes. she crossed her arms and tilted her head back proudly, looking as if she knew all the secrets of the world.

"What? He isn't? Liya, do you know something? Have you seen a real Super Saiyan?"

Qin Yan's parents asked in shock. If Qin Yan wasn't even a Super Saiyan yet, then how high was his ceiling? They looked at Liya expectantly, hoping for more information.

However, the little girl simply showed her white teeth in a mischievous smile and said, "I don't know," before going silent.

The group nearly tumbled over in frustration. Their expectations were shattered, and they gave Liya a collective eye-roll, completely speechless at her antics. Facing their sullen glares, the girl just giggled to herself, refusing to say another word. They had no choice but to stop dwelling on it and turn their attention back to the battlefield.

Melos, Qin Yan's mother, gave Liya a deep, contemplative look. She sensed the girl knew something, but since she wouldn't talk, Melos didn't press her. Perhaps the truth would come out eventually.

"Things have come to this... maybe we should go help. We can't just stand here watching," Benas, Qin Yan's father, said with a look of dissatisfaction. His fighting spirit was surging; he wanted to be in the thick of it with the others.

"No way! Brother Qin Yan told me to watch over you. If anything happens to you, he'll definitely scold me when he gets back!"

Before anyone could respond, Liya jumped out and blocked their path, her expression firm.

"But..."

"No buts! No means no!"

The little girl was resolute, her head shaking like a rattle. No matter what they said, she wouldn't let them join the fray.

"We have to do something! Frieza might be down, but his men still outnumber us, and they have many high-level warriors. We can't just wait," Benas insisted.

"How about this? We go to the control room and launch the Power Ball. We can use intense Blutz Waves to trigger everyone's Great Ape transformation. That way, we can overwhelm Frieza's army," Melos suggested.

"That's it!"

The group's eyes lit up. It was a perfect plan.

After reaching an agreement, they hurried toward the control room. Before long, Liya and the others reached a high-tech, luxurious hall the central command center. All the permissions for the planet's advanced machinery were located here.

Once they found the controls for the Artificial Moon, they worked the console until a dazzling beam of light shot into the sky.

High above the Royal Capital, a massive, brilliant white orb appeared, radiating intense Blutz Waves.

For a Saiyan to transform into a Great Ape, their body needed to absorb Blutz Waves exceeding 17 million zeno units. It wasn't the moon itself that triggered the change, but rather the waves the moon happened to reflect. Since many celestial bodies in the universe could emit these waves, the Saiyans had long used the Great Ape form to conquer countless worlds.

The sudden, blinding light caused both sides of the conflict to pause once more. All eyes turned toward the source in the sky.

"Huh? A moon?"

Bardock looked up in confusion, wondering why a full moon would appear in broad daylight. A moment later, his confusion turned into pure ecstasy.

"This is bad!"

Zarbon's face grew grim. He had just been fighting Bardock in his own transformed state, and they had been evenly matched. If Bardock turned into a Great Ape now, Zarbon wouldn't stand a chance.

Frieza's lackeys also realized the gravity of the situation. They knew exactly what was coming. Against Saiyans in their Great Ape forms, they were nothing but fodder. Terror began to spread through their ranks as some began to retreat.

The Saiyans stared blankly at the round moon. Their pupils trembled, and their expressions stiffened.

Thump-thump! Thump-thump!

At that moment, every Saiyan's heart began to race. The powerful beats sounded like ten thousand war drums, heavy and rhythmic, vibrating through their very souls. It felt like the pulse of the earth itself, stirring a primal power within them.

The sound was deafening, the rhythm surging like a tidal wave, like the stampede of a thousand-strong cavalry.

The blood of every Saiyan began to boil. Their eyes glowed with a crimson light, their bodies shook, and a terrifyingly powerful Ki began to radiate from them.

Under the influence of the Blutz Waves, the tails behind them were stimulated, triggering a cellular mutation that forced the evolution into the Great Ape form.

Aside from a few elite warriors and members of the royalty, most Saiyans lost all sense of reason upon transforming, becoming mindless war machines fueled only by the instinct to destroy and kill.

The Saiyans' faces became distorted and savage. Their teeth lengthened into vicious fangs, and their bodies expanded, growing thick fur. Some were brown, some black. Their faces shifted into apelike features, their eyes turned entirely red, and their pupils vanished.

"ROAARRRR!!!!"

Tens of thousands of Great Apes howled in unison. The deafening roars pierced the clouds and shook the hearts of everyone listening, sending an endless chill down their spines.

The sight of tens of thousands of massive apes, a sea of dark fur and overwhelming pressure, was horrific it looked like a scene from the depths of an abyss.

They leapt about, pounding their chests with such force that the ground groaned. The impact of their massive weight shattered the earth. Nearby buildings, already damaged, collapsed like sandcastles under the shockwaves.

Then, the army of Great Apes began an indiscriminate rampage.

Boom!

Rumble!

Terrorizing beams of energy erupted from the mouths of the Great Apes, exploding across the landscape. Massive mushroom clouds rose all over Planet Vegeta, their fiery glow reaching the heavens as thick smoke blotted out the sun. They had become mindless, frenzied beasts.

"AAAHHH!"

The screams of Frieza's aliens were drowned out by the explosions. These soldiers were no match for the transformed Saiyans. Their Power Levels were now worlds apart. Only a handful of the strongest aliens could even hope to survive a single blow; the rest were annihilated instantly.

In the Great Ape form, a Saiyan's Power Level increased tenfold. While most lost their humanity, those who could maintain control could still use their martial arts skills with devastating efficiency.

The battle had become completely one-sided.

The Great Apes were on a rampage of indiscriminate destruction, tearing the planet apart. They were reveling in the chaos.

Bang! Bang!

The tremors felt like a massive earthquake. Dense cracks snaked across the landscape, leaving the surface unrecognizable. Fierce winds howled, sweeping across the world and leveling everything in their path.

"Boom!"

Bardock, now in his Great Ape form, unleashed a mouth blast that vaporized a massive group of Frieza's lackeys.

Ptooey!

Bardock danced and roared, destroying everything in his path with wild abandon, clearly enjoying himself.

After transforming, Bardock's Power Level had jumped tenfold, reaching roughly 260,000. Because he had recovered from a near-death state after his previous clash with Frieza, his base Power Level had risen to over 26,000 putting him on par with Zarbon's transformed state.

The sight of tens of thousands of Great Apes together was a spectacle that hadn't been seen since the Saiyans first migrated to this planet to fight the Tuffles.

In truth, the Saiyans' original home was Planet Sadala. After it was destroyed by internal strife, the survivors migrated here and exterminated the native Tuffles. In that war,

many Saiyans had also utilized the Great Ape transformation. After the genocide, King Vegeta had renamed Planet Plant to Planet Vegeta, establishing it as the Saiyan homeland.

The destruction continued, and smoke filled the air.

Planet Vegeta was now blanketed in fire and ash. Between Qin Yan's battle with Frieza and the rampaging apes, the planet was riddled with holes and falling into ruin. It was on the verge of total collapse.

Suddenly.

In the outer space above Planet Vegeta.

A massive spaceship appeared, bearing a striking resemblance to Frieza's own vessel.

"So, they've arrived!"

Qin Yan looked up toward the sky, his eyes deep and filled with a faint sense of anticipation.
