Immediately, King Cold's various underlings scrambled into action.
"Just what is going on?"
"I never imagined that even with my two sons, Frieza and Cooler, joining forces, they would still be defeated."
"When did someone capable of surpassing the Universe's Strongest Race appear in this galaxy? Why was there no word of this at all?"
King Cold stood with his hands behind his back. His crimson pupils trembled slightly, flickering with a cold, eerie light. His gaze was sharp and icy, his brow furrowed in a terrifying, somber expression. Through the viewport, he stared into the deep reaches of the starry sky, his eyes dark and profound, lost in thought.
Then, King Cold's purple lips twitched as a sinister, raspy voice escaped them. His evil tone carried a chilling malice and an endless intent to kill, making one shudder involuntarily.
His hawk-like, cunning face was masked with a touch of doubt and boundless fury, like the calm before a storm thick with the scent of evil conspiracies and cruelty.
"Could it be that the legendary Super Saiyan has appeared?"
King Cold thought back to the words passed down through the ages by their ancestor, Chilled. The only one capable of rivaling their race was said to be the golden-haired Saiyan who had once fought their forefather the legendary Super Saiyan.
However, like his sons, Cold was arrogant to the core. He had never truly believed those ethereal legends, nor did he believe a Super Saiyan could ever be a match for the galaxy's strongest clan.
"If it really is the legendary Super Saiyan of that race, I hope you're still alive. I, King Cold, will end your life with my own hands."
King Cold's purple lips curled into a sinister, cruel smile. His laughter was eerie and horrific, his voice echoing like a ghost, enough to make one's skin crawl. The cold light flashing in his crimson eyes made his subordinates tremble with fear,
breaking out in cold sweeps. He looked like an ancient beast lying in wait, his body language exuding a cold, composed aura that suggested everything was within his grasp.
King Cold's chilling voice echoed through the freezing hall. The terrifying pressure sent his men into a fit of shivering, their faces pale with dread.
Arrogant and conceited, King Cold never bothered to consider the strength of his opponents. As a member of the Universe's Strongest Race, he looked down on everyone.
Standing before the viewport, King Cold's brow twitched, and his eyes narrowed.
Suddenly...
CRACK! A crisp sound rang out as the glass of the viewport shattered.
Shatter! The broken shards of glass flew outward into the vacuum.
A powerful aura erupted from King Cold's body. A violent gale howled, surging straight out through the broken window.
"Oh... oh... AAAHHH!"
Behind King Cold, a blue-haired alien underling was frozen in terror. His body couldn't withstand the pressure, and he was swept up by the fierce wind, dragged forward, and sucked out through the broken viewport. Several other aliens followed, blown out into the void, their fates unknown.
"Reporting to Great King Cold! The troops have been assembled and are ready for departure!"
At that moment, an orange-haired alien with a white beard hurried in to report. Their massive army had gathered in just a few short minutes. Such terrifying speed and efficiency in mobilization were truly awe-inspiring.
"Good. Move out."
Hearing his subordinate's words, King Cold turned his robust frame. His gaze was like a blade, cold and sharp, as if it could easily pierce through any barrier standing before him. His eyes were full of coldness and conceit, looking as though he could destroy anything he desired on a whim.
King Cold stared intently at the underling. The small fry felt as if he had fallen into an ice cellar; his entire body went cold, and he couldn't help but shudder.
Fortunately, King Cold made no move against him, otherwise, the underling would have been turned into an ice sculpture.
King Cold spoke with powerful resonance, his evil voice like a deep abyss low, heavy, and full of a deterrent force that made it impossible to ignore, as if it could shake the entire world.
"Your subordinate obeys!"
The orange-haired, white-bearded alien responded in terror. He bowed deeply toward King Cold and then beat a hasty retreat. He didn't want to stay there for another second; the pressure was too much, and he felt his life could be snuffed out at any moment.
Truly, serving a king is like living with a tiger!
King Cold rose and left the main hall with a majestic, long stride, heading toward his spaceship to begin the campaign.
A short while later...
Thousands of massive spaceships sailed majestically into the vast sea of stars, setting a course for the coordinates of Planet Vegeta.
In a distant corner of the galaxy...
Planet Prodalanafack sat in a remote and secluded part of the universe.
In the Southern Continent, at the heart of a primordial mountain range stretching for tens of thousands of miles a place filled with mystery and danger there was a majestic, ancient green tree growing over a flat patch of grass.
Swish!
A dozen dark shadows appeared abruptly on the grass like ghosts.
It was Qin Yan and his companions. Using Instant Transmission, Qin Yan had brought his parents and the others to Planet Prodalanafack, the place where he had been training all this time.
"This place is... where are we?"
The group looked around at the unfamiliar environment with surprise and confusion.
"This is Planet Prodalanafack. It's where Brother Qin Yan and I have been staying," Little Liya piped up before Qin Yan could speak. Her voice was like the song of an oriole, crisp and sweet, and her face was bright with a sweet, lovely smile.
"Nani?"
"What?"
Qin Yan's parents, Liya's parents, and Tora were all stunned. Shock was written across their faces. They never expected to be moved from Planet Vegeta to a remote corner of the universe in the blink of an eye.
In that moment, Qin Yan seemed even more mysterious and powerful in their eyes.
"Waaaah! Bardock!"
Suddenly, a heart-wrenching sob rang out, snapping everyone out of their shock.
Everyone turned to look at Gine. Tears were gushing from her eyes, and her face was already soaked. She was weeping uncontrollably.
Seeing this, the expressions of those around her darkened. They didn't know how to console her.
Qin Yan's mother, Melos, Liya's mother, Fuya, and the only female member of Bardock's squad, Fasha, stepped forward. They embraced the heartbroken Gine, gently stroking her back to comfort her.
"Don't cry anymore, Gine. Believe in Bardock; he will definitely come looking for you. You have to take care of yourself."
"That's right! Gine, since Bardock said it, he will definitely find his way back to you."
"Mmm, they're right. I believe in our captain. we've fought side by side for so long and encountered countless dangers. Every time, he led us to safety. So, I believe that this time, Bardock will return safely as well."
Qin Yan's mother and the other female Saiyans took turns comforting Gine, their voices soft and their eyes filled with deep concern.
"Yeah! Gine, we all believe in Bardock. He's a man who creates miracles; he'll definitely come back." The large Saiyan men nearby also stepped forward to offer words of comfort.
"Mmm... thank you, everyone!"
Faced with everyone's concern, Gine's expression softened slightly, though her voice was still thick with sobs and hiccups.
She was incredibly grateful for their kindness, but in her heart, the horrific image of Planet Vegeta exploding was still fresh. She couldn't help but feel consumed by anxiety and fear for her husband, Bardock.
"Perhaps... Bardock isn't dead."
Qin Yan's voice was like a morning breeze, quietly rustling through the branches with a fresh aura. It rang in everyone's ears, instantly waking Gine from her dazed worry and causing a glimmer of hope to flash in her eyes.
