"You're very lucky to have a complete and loving family so you must cherish them because there are many people who wished for what you have" he said, covering her shoulders with his jacket. Mu Xiu only looked at him silently not knowing what to say, he looked at her then he proceeded to stroking her hair. Mu Xiu was stunned by his actions, he was looking at her gently and affectionately
"No it must be my imagination, Mu Xiu don't think too highly of yourself" she chanted silently in her heart
"Uhm Sir it's getting late so I will be going now if you no longer need anything" she said feeling flustered, a cunning smile appeared on his face as he watched her retreating
"Mu Xiu" he called, she froze it was the first time he had called her by her full name and it sounded nice from him. She turned around, Pei Qianhao walked up to her and leaned close to her face. Mu Xiu shifted back ward nervously while Pei Qianhao moved closer until she finally reached a wall, Pei Qianhao placed his his two hands behind the wall trapping her. Mu Xiu looked at him calmly but in reality she was very nervous, he smiled in satisfaction when he saw her nervous expression then he leaned closer
"Don't forget to bring my gift with you after your one day leave" he whispered softly to her, Mu Xiu felt her heart racing like never before but she quickly regained her composure and calmed herself down.
"I understand Sir, good night President Pei" she replied and walked away quickly without waiting for his response. Pei Qianhao watched as she walked away hurriedly he didn't know that someone could make his heart beat fast, it was the same feeling from five years ago but it was more stronger than ever, the attraction and longing was becoming stronger
"What I Pei Qianhao has set my mind on can never change, Mu Xiu you can only be mine" he swore inwardly

Mu Xiu got up as early as she could because she was going back home to visit her parents and brothers. She stopped by the mall and picked a few gifts for everyone then she rushed back home to the Mu Mansion.
At the Mu Mansion they were all eating breakfast at the dining table the atmosphere was dull suddenly Ling Rui who was eating dropped her cutleries then she stood up.
"You guys should go ahead I'm already done eating" she said softly
"Rui you didn't eat much just a little more before you leave" Mu Linfeng persuaded gently
"Yes Mom please have some more" Mu Ling added he was starting to get for his Mom, she's feeling down which is not good for her health according to their family doctor
"It's alright I don't have the appetite to eat any more" Ling Rui replied
"Rui how you going to keep on doing this, why are you acting like we've lost our daughter forever. We are all worried about you , our daughter is already an adult so she had her own life to live so stop acting this way and get a grip of yourself" Mu Linfeng scolded heavily, Mu Xiu who was planning on surprising her family so she stopped the Butler from announcing her arrival walked into this scene .
"Yes it feels like I'm going to lose her forever, what wrong have I done my daughter was taken from me when she was a baby and after getting her back after 20 long years it seems to me that she's still away from me. I know that I might be selfish but I just want my daughter to spend more time with me" Ling Rui said voicing out her thoughts not noticing Mu Xiu who was standing at the door.
