Jun slowly opened his eyes… but the moment he tried to move, he felt a soft and warm weight on his chest. He immediately opened his eyes fully. He saw that Red Eye was sitting on top of him. The distance between them was almost zero. Her silver-white hair was falling over Jun's shoulders, and her red eye was glowing faintly.
Jun felt a little awkward,"Red Eye… get off me."
Red Eye leaned slightly closer and looked into his eyes. Her voice was unusually soft, and her lips looked delicate like rose petals.
"My dear and innocent Master… please don't misunderstand. I didn't do anything. I was just sitting here."
Jun turned his face slightly to the side.
"That's fine… but why are you sitting on me?"
Red Eye kept looking at him for a few seconds. As if she was observing his reaction. Then without saying anything, she slowly got up… But while getting up, her hand lightly slid across Jun's chest.
Jun immediately closed his eyes… then opened them again.
"This… isn't necessary,"he said quietly.
Red Eye stood close to him, but her gaze was still fixed on Jun. Jun climbed down from the branch. The morning air was slightly cold, but Jun's mind still felt a bit awkward.
He opened his bag,"Let's… eat something."
But the moment he checked inside and froze because the entire bag was empty. Only the collected samples were inside. For a second, he thought he might have checked the wrong compartment. He checked again.
Jun slowly lifted his face and looked at Red Eye.
"…my food?"
Red Eye replied in a completely normal tone,"Master… why don't you hunt?"
Jun narrowed his eyes slightly.
"Answer directly."
Red Eye gave a small smile,"The meat was getting spoiled… so I ate it."
Jun took a deep breath,"All of it?"
"Yes, Master."
Jun placed his hand on his face.
Then said slowly,"You do know… I eat too, right? I get hungry too, you glutton."
Red Eye stepped closer to him. Jun could feel her warm breath.
"Master… if you wanted, you could have stopped me."
Jun looked at her,"I was sleeping."
"Even then… you could have stopped me,"Red Eye said softly.
Jun couldn't tell whether it was logic… or a taunt.
He shook his head,"Fine, There will be a rule now."
Red Eye asked with interest,"A rule?"
Jun said directly,"You won't eat my food without asking."
Red Eye tilted her head slightly and nodded,"Alright, Master… but what if you forget?"
Jun replied immediately,"I won't forget."
Red Eye stepped a little closer,"I'll remind you…"
There was a slight playful tone in her voice. Jun immediately changed the topic.
"Let's hunt"
He started walking ahead. Red Eye walked parallel to him. For a while, there was silence between them.
Then Red Eye asked softly,"Master… are you still uncomfortable?"
Jun didn't answer,"I just… need to focus."
Red Eye looked at his side profile,"Focus… or avoid huhh?"
He looked at her for a second,"You've started talking too much."
Red Eye smiled faintly,"I'm learning… from you."
Jun narrowed his eyes,"Don't learn the wrong things."
"What is wrong… and what is right?" Red Eye asked calmly.
Jun had no answer to that. He started walking again. The baby leopard sat quietly on his shoulder, occasionally moving. The forest was getting denser. The ground was uneven, and strange energy could be felt in certain places.
Red Eye said softly,"Master… your heart rate is a little fast."
Jun replied immediately,"Because of the gravity."
Red Eye looked straight into his eyes,"Or because of me?"
Jun chose to look straight ahead," Just focus, Jun"
Red Eye let out a soft laugh,"Please do focus, Master"
While walking like this, Jun didn't even realize when he exited the forests of the Deccan Mountains. Just as he was about to think something a pig-type alien suddenly attacked him.
Before Jun could even react Red Eye instantly moved. With a single blade strike she severed the pig's neck. The alien collapsed and a notification flashed.

Jun was so embarrassed at this point that he couldn't say anything. Silently, he began frying the pig's body.
