Chapter 1 - The Son Of Regulus Black

-I died tragically during an exploration in the lost city of Aclantis.

- But something happened and I reincarnated as the son of Regulus Black.

Note: This Regulus is a Twenty-one years old when he dies at the hands of Voldemort.

Death was supposed to be the end.

For me, it wasn't.

After dying during an exploration of the lost city of Atlantis, I woke up in a world of magic, witches, wizards, and ancient bloodlines.

But this wasn't just any magical world.

It was the world of Harry Potter.

And somehow, I had been given a second chance at life.

Not as an ordinary wizard.

I had a refined and exceptionally handsome face, with white hair tipped with strands of black.

My eyes were unusual, yet they only made me look even more attractive. One was ruby red, while the other was amethyst purple.

My mother was Estella White, a member of a pure-blood family from the United States with immense privilege and political influence.

My full name was Michael Regulus Black White.

I was the heir to both the Black and White families, as well as the Rosier family through my grandmother, Walburga.

When I was six years old, a blue screen suddenly appeared before my eyes.

After reading everything, I became excited.

I had honestly thought I wouldn't get a system like the ones transmigrators usually had in the stories I had read many years ago.

Without wasting any time, I immediately began reading every book in the family libraries.

That kind of quest wasn't going to be completed overnight.

After upgrading my attributes, I felt my muscles tense as an enormous amount of strength surged through my body.

My reflexes became sharper.

My body became more durable.

And deep within me, I could feel my magical core growing stronger and expanding.

Then I saw an owl carrying a letter.

My Hogwarts acceptance letter.

Note: I won't tell you what it said because you must be tired of reading the same Hogwarts letter in every fanfic.

I called for Kreacher, the house-elf.

—Kreacher: "Yes, Master Black?"

Note: Since Michael is Regulus's son, Kreacher doesn't hate him. Quite the opposite—he adores him.

—Michael: "Kreacher, we need to go to Diagon Alley to buy everything I need for Hogwarts. And, most importantly, my wand."

—Kreacher: "Of course, Master."

Before he could leave, I stopped him.

—Michael: "Kreacher, I recently spoke with Grandmother Walburga's portrait. She told me you have a locket that belonged to the Dark Lord."

The moment I said those words, Kreacher's expression changed.

His body became tense, and he looked as if he were about to cry.

—Kreacher: "Master... how do you know about that?"

His voice trembled.

His small eyes were filled with fear as his hands began twisting nervously.

—Michael: "Answer me, Kreacher. Do you have it?"

For several seconds, the house-elf said nothing.

Finally, he lowered his head.

—Kreacher: "Yes, Master..."

My expression became serious.

—Michael: "Bring it to me."

—Kreacher: "No, Master! Kreacher cannot do that!"

His reaction surprised me.

—Michael: "Why?"

—Kreacher: "The Dark Lord ordered that nobody touch the locket. Master Regulus also ordered Kreacher to protect it..."

At the mention of my father's name, I narrowed my eyes.

—Michael: "My father told you to protect it?"

—Kreacher: "Yes, Master."

I slowly approached the house-elf.

—Michael: "Then tell me exactly what happened."

Kreacher began trembling.

—Kreacher: "Master Regulus discovered something... something terrible. The Dark Lord had used the locket to do something dark. Master Regulus forced Kreacher to take him to a cave..."

My heart began beating faster.

The original story.

Everything was happening exactly as it had in canon.

Or, at least...

Almost exactly.

—Michael: "And what happened afterward?"

—Kreacher: "Master Regulus took the locket and ordered Kreacher to leave. He said Kreacher had to abandon him there and return home."

Kreacher began to cry.

—Kreacher: "But Master Regulus... never came back."

I clenched my fists.

So it was true.

My father had discovered Voldemort's secret.

And he had died trying to destroy it.

But something didn't make sense.

If Kreacher had survived...

Then the locket could still be in Grimmauld Place.

—Michael: "Kreacher."

—Kreacher: "Yes, Master?"

—Michael: "Bring me the locket."

—Kreacher: "But, Master..."

—Michael: "I'm not going to destroy it."

Kreacher slowly raised his head.

—Michael: "I just want to see it first."

The house-elf hesitated.

Finally—

Pop!

He disappeared.

A few seconds later, he returned.

In his hands was a small golden locket with a large S shaped like a serpent.

The instant I saw it, I felt something.

An unpleasant sensation.

As if something were watching me.

My natural Legilimency reacted instinctively.

And then I heard a voice.

Let me in...

My eyes widened.

It wasn't an ordinary voice.

It seemed to come directly from inside my mind.

But I wasn't afraid.

I smiled.

—Michael: "So you're Slytherin's famous locket."

Kreacher went pale.

—Kreacher: "Master, don't look at it! It's dangerous!"

I raised a hand.

—Michael: "Relax."

I extended my hand toward the locket.

The moment my fingers touched it, a powerful wave of dark energy coursed through my body.

My vision went black for an instant.

Then images appeared.

A tall man.

Black hair.

Cold eyes.

Tom Riddle.

Then I saw my father.

Regulus.

And finally...

I saw Voldemort.

But there was something else.

A small crack appeared across the locket.

My eyes widened in surprise.

—Michael: "Interesting..."

The locket began vibrating.

And another voice echoed inside my mind.

Michael...

I froze.

That shouldn't have happened.

The Horcrux was reacting to me.

Then the blue screen appeared before my eyes.

«[Warning!]

[A hostile spiritual entity has been detected.]

[Horcrux detected.]

[The owner's soul is attempting to establish a connection with the user.]

[Mental resistance recommended.]»

I smiled.

—Michael: "Voldemort..."

My ruby-red and amethyst-purple eyes gleamed.

—Michael: "Looks like Hogwarts is going to be much more interesting than I expected."

Kreacher stared at me, completely confused.

—Kreacher: "Master... what's happening?"

I slipped the locket into my pocket.

—Michael: "Nothing important."

I turned toward him.

—Michael: "Now."

—Michael: "Let's go to Diagon Alley."

—Kreacher: "And the locket?"

I glanced at the object.

—Michael: "We're taking it with us."

Kreacher began trembling.

—Kreacher: "To Hogwarts?"

I smiled.

—Michael: "Exactly."

Because if Voldemort had left a fragment of his soul inside that object...

Then I had just found my first opportunity to uncover all his secrets.

And perhaps...

A way to end him before the war even began.

---

Pop!

Kreacher and I appeared in front of one of the entrances to Diagon Alley.

I adjusted my clothes and looked around.

It had been a long time since I had last seen this place.

Although I knew the story of Harry Potter perfectly, actually being there was completely different.

This wasn't a movie.

It was real.

People walked through the streets, magical objects filled the shop windows, and several children ran around excitedly from one store to another.

Kreacher followed behind me, carrying an enormous amount of Galleons.

—Michael: "We'll buy the books first."

—Kreacher: "Yes, Master Michael."

We entered Flourish and Blotts.

It didn't take me long.

Thanks to my eidetic memory, I could remember practically every book I had read during the previous five years.

But I didn't want to limit myself to school textbooks.

I bought several advanced books on:

- Charms

- Transfiguration

- Potions

- Defense Against the Dark Arts

- Ancient Runes

- Arithmancy

- History of Magic

- Ritual Magic

- Magical Creatures

- Magical Theory

When I finished, I looked at Kreacher.

—Michael: "Now we're going for the wand."

We left the bookstore and headed toward Ollivanders.

As soon as we entered, a bell rang.

A voice came from the back of the shop.

—Ollivander: "Well..."

The old man slowly emerged from between the shelves.

—Ollivander: "How curious."

He studied me for several seconds.

—Ollivander: "What's your name, young man?"

—Michael: "Michael Regulus Black White."

Ollivander's expression changed slightly.

—Ollivander: "Black... White."

His eyes became more serious.

—Ollivander: "I haven't heard a combination like that in a very long time."

—Michael: "Do you know my family?"

—Ollivander: "I know almost every important magical family in Britain."

He took out a measuring tape.

—Ollivander: "Extend your arm."

The measuring tape began measuring my arm automatically.

Then he pulled out a box.

—Ollivander: "Let's try this one."

I took the wand.

Nothing.

The wand released a tiny spark before becoming completely inert.

Ollivander shook his head.

—Ollivander: "No."

He pulled out another.

Nothing.

Then another.

And another.

After several attempts, Ollivander began to frown.

—Ollivander: "This is strange."

—Michael: "What's wrong?"

—Ollivander: "The wands aren't rejecting you."

He looked directly into my eyes.

—Ollivander: "They're avoiding you."

I raised an eyebrow.

Ollivander then walked toward a shelf that looked considerably older than the others.

He pulled out a dusty box.

—Ollivander: "This wand has been waiting for someone for decades."

He opened the box.

Inside was a beautiful black wand with thin silver lines running along its wood.

—Ollivander: "Yew."

—Ollivander: "Phoenix feather core."

—Ollivander: "Thirty-five centimeters."

—Ollivander: "Slightly flexible."

My eyes gleamed.

I took the wand.

An explosion of magical energy swept through the shop.

The windows vibrated.

Several objects began floating.

Kreacher's mouth fell open in shock.

For the first time, Ollivander looked genuinely impressed.

—Ollivander: "Extraordinary..."

I looked at the wand.

It felt as though it had always belonged in my hand.

Then the blue screen appeared.

«[Wand Compatibility: 100%]

[Synchronization Complete.]

[User's magical capacity has increased slightly.]»

I smiled.

—Michael: "I'll take it."

—Ollivander: "I believe she had already chosen you."

I paid the Galleons, and we left the shop.

But before we could walk away, I heard a voice.

—Harry: "Michael?"

I stopped.

I slowly turned around.

A boy with messy black hair and green eyes was standing several meters behind me.

I recognized him immediately.

Harry Potter.

But there was something strange.

Harry wasn't alone.

Standing beside him was a tall man with black hair.

Sirius Black.

Our eyes met.

For several seconds, neither of us said anything.

Sirius studied me carefully.

Then he frowned.

—Sirius: "Who are you?"

I smiled slightly.

—Michael: "Michael Black."

Sirius froze.

—Sirius: "Are you... Regulus's son?"

I nodded.

—Michael: "Yes."

The atmosphere immediately changed.

Sirius clenched his fists.

But before he could say anything, Harry spoke.

—Harry: "So you're my cousin?"

I looked at him.

I couldn't help but smile.

—Michael: "I suppose technically I am."

Harry smiled.

—Harry: "Cool."

Sirius looked at the two of us.

—Sirius: "This is going to be complicated."

I simply looked toward the sky.

Hogwarts was waiting for me.

And with it...

A completely different story from the one I knew.
