Wearing an ECU uniform wasn't something I ever thought I'd do, but here I was. Wayne and I tied the arms and legs of the soldier to the bed frame with bed sheets, and Wayne tasered him again, though he hadn't even moved a single muscle.
"Just to make sure," she'd said with a shrug, but at that point, I was past being surprised by her actions.
She opened the door and let us both out. Since the protection spells had been deactivated when she first came in with that soldier, no alarm was raised when I stepped into the hallway. I was scared, yes, but also excited.
Soon, we were going to see other people, soldiers and ECU employees, and it would be the moment of truth. They'd either see right through our act and uniforms, which were at least two sizes too big for the both of us, or they weren't going to notice a thing.
