That night, we slept. I thought I wasn't going to be able to close my eyes, but I was so desperate to forget, I slept until eight the next morning.
They tried two finding spells—Blood and Bone magic. Having to cut my hand and put my blood in a glass for them wasn't fun, but if it worked, I wasn't going to have to waste any more time. I could go find Red that same day.
Unfortunately, it didn't work.
Wayne was good with spells. She could easily make Pretters, too, though she didn't prefer it. So when her Bone spell didn't work, I lost almost all hope.
When Amara's didn't either, I knew there was nothing more spells could do for us.
