The last exchange turned into more savage than before. The two-headed Guardian staggered under Myles' crossing slash but didn't fall. Both of its heads screamed at once and its blades spun in a furious counterattack.
Myles stepped inside the storm of relentless attack. The bladed hands scraped along his ribs, tearing his cloth, but he drove his own two weapons forward at that moment.
