Myles immediately sensed the danger of the situation. The armored army had not simply charged blindly like the enemies they had faced before. It was as if they had planned this. The encirclement closed tightly around them, shields and spears forming a disciplined ring meant to trap and overwhelm them.
He had not expected this dungeon to produce enemies capable of battlefield tactics.
"Don't give up!" Myles shouted loudly. "Use your skills now!"
At the same moment, he raised his hand and activated his Fireball skill.
A blazing sphere of flame formed instantly above his palm before launching forward. Compared to before, the skill moved more smoothly.
The Ether around him responded naturally to his will. Ever since he had begun to understand the flow of Ether, his control had improved dramatically.
The fireball exploded against a group of armored warriors, the blast sending several of them staggering backward or even falling.
