Jack watched Myles walk toward him.
Even from several meters away he could see the coldness on the man's face. There was no hesitation there. No anger either. Just calm certainty.
Jack had seen that same look before. Red had that same expression whenever he decided someone had to die.
A quiet chill crawled down Jack's spine.
At the side, Lilian observed the scene silently. She gave a small approving nod.
A captured enemy only had value as long as the information they provided benefited the group. Once that usefulness ended, they became a risk instead. In her eyes, Jack and the others had already lost their value the moment he revealed everything he knew. Myles had made the correct decision.

Victor, George, Daniel, and the others slowly began following behind Myles.
Jack's eyes widened as he realized what was happening.
