Chapter 105 - Taking Stock of the Spoils

Maxing out Bear Brawler hadn't cost Hyūga Akira his position as a sniper—

but how many times he could actually fire now was another question entirely.

The stronger the attack, the greater the chakra consumption. That much was unavoidable.

Still, there was no doubt about one thing: the power far surpassed simple throwing.

"Man… I really want to become a Jinchūriki," Akira muttered.

"If I were one, I wouldn't have to worry about chakra at all."

With just this max-level Bear Brawler alone, if he had a tailed beast backing him, he'd be straight-up Kage-tier.

Whoever came knocking would get sent flying.

As for the village's fear and hatred toward Jinchūriki?

Akira would teach them exactly what 'Homelander' meant.

He didn't eat beef!!

…Of course, that was just wishful thinking.

The position of Jinchūriki would never fall to him.

The Hyūga clan had never produced one—ever.

"I remember tailed beasts drop tailed beast chakra," Akira said, stroking his chin.

"Nine of them can fuse into Ten-Tails chakra."

If he couldn't be a Jinchūriki, then maybe he could just farm all nine tailed beasts instead.

Though that would have to wait until he could solo five great villages.

His gaze shifted to the eight items in his inventory.

Five from Shōzō, three from Tayla.

Among them, two items were the real reason he dared to return to Konoha.

[Nen Exorcist Skill Fragment (2/10)]

One dropped by Shōzō, one by Tayla.

That made ten fragments in total.

They fused automatically.

[Skill: Nen Exorcism]

Akira let out a low laugh.

"Finally… I can deal with this damn Caged Bird."

From now on, the Hyūga main house would no longer be able to control him.

He chose to learn it immediately.

[Nen Exorcism (No Level)]

No-level skills were rare even in the game.

Every single one of them was absurdly powerful.

Nen Exorcism's effect was simple—and terrifying:

It forcibly removes any seals, curses, or residual powers formed by energy.

Including the Caged Bird Seal.

Other no-level skills existed too, such as:

The Voice of All Things (Pirate world)Prophecy (Naruto world)

The former was relatively easy to obtain—Mist ninja dropped it fairly often.

The latter required farming the Great Toad Sage of Mount Myōboku.

The Voice of All Things let you understand the "voices" of living beings and even inanimate objects—

a dream skill for quest-focused players.

Prophecy, on the other hand, revealed all possible drops from a target—

a god-tier ability for grinders like Akira.

Normally, Akira only knew the drops of major bosses.

For enemies like Shōzō or Tayla, he'd had no idea what they could drop.

With Prophecy, that problem vanished entirely.

He did have similar item cards—but those were consumables.

Skills only cost chakra.

Akira removed his forehead protector, gathered chakra in his hand, and gently brushed it across his forehead.

The green markings twisted, darkened, and turned black.

The Caged Bird Seal had lost its effect.

"Completely removing it will take time," Akira muttered, examining the black pattern in a mirror.

Honestly, it looked better than the green version.

Nen Exorcism didn't erase it instantly.

The seal was too complex, too deeply integrated with his body.

For safety, he estimated at least three years to remove it completely.

He could brute-force it with massive chakra output—but that risked damaging his Byakugan or even his brain.

Leveling up or using Archangel's Breath could heal blindness.

But stupidity?

That might be permanent.

"The main house really deserves to die," he muttered.

"Byakugan!"

Veins bulged around his eyes.

His vision expanded—no blind spots, full 360 degrees.

Aside from the black mark, the Caged Bird Seal was now completely ineffective.

"Technically… Nen Exorcism should also be able to remove a tailed beast seal," Akira mused.

His thoughts started drifting again—but he quickly reeled them back in.

Know your limits.

Remaining Drops

First, the two remaining items from Tayla.

[Chimera Ant Ring]

Increases Nen capacity by +1000

[Skill: God's Left Hand, Devil's Right Hand]

Akira's eyes lit up.

"Jackpot."

This was Kortopi's ability from Hunter x Hunter.

Left hand touches the original.

Right hand creates a perfect copy.

Living beings couldn't be copied, but static biological forms could.

Copied items retained all original functions.

After 24 hours, they disappeared.

Which meant—

As long as he had one explosive tag, he effectively had infinite explosive tags.

The only limitation was chakra.

"Learn it. Learn it now."

Akira put on the ring and immediately absorbed the skill.

[Chakra / Nen: 1132 / 1110 + 50 + 20 + 1000]

His chakra cap surged past two thousand.

The pressure he'd constantly felt from low chakra vanished almost instantly.

"Ten thousand chakra isn't that far off anymore."

[God's Left Hand, Devil's Right Hand (Lv.1)]

At level one:

Copies last 1 hourChakra cost scales with size and massNo tracking of copied items yet

"One hour's enough," Akira decided.

Everything would be used up long before that anyway.

And he could always level it later.

Shōzō's Remaining Drops[Nanika's Wish List Fragment (1/10)]

Only three fragments total so far.

The remaining seven? Who knew when he'd ever see them.

[Dark War Blade]

Attack +1000–5000

Inflicts Disease / Weakness / Heavy Injury

Gain +10 Attack per kill

"Top-tier Hunter gear."

Akira took it out immediately, completely enamored.

Level twenty-something, and he already had endgame equipment.

A true Dark Set weapon.

Best of all—no level requirement.

If he landed a clean hit with this blade, he feared no one.

Then—

"Wait."

Akira froze.

"…Did my melee strength drop?"

Bear Brawler had evolved into the Paw-Paw ability.

Raw physical power had clearly declined.

"Nope. Not acceptable."

After tasting brute strength so many times, there was no way he'd give it up.

"I'll need to learn the Monster Strength Technique at some point."

He put the blade away and turned to the final two items.

The ones that made him realize—

This game had just unlocked a whole new layer.

[Yorknew Auction Invitation]

Use to enter Yorknew City and receive a random quest

[Hunter World Server Invitation]

Randomly summons an NPC from the Hunter server

Akira stared at them for a long moment.

"…The world's really about to spiral out of control."

This was no longer just Naruto.

The Hunter server could now directly interfere.

A slow grin spread across his face.

"Now this is getting interesting."
